Actually I moved out from my old/above apartment on 12/30/2017. On 12/31/2017 I cleaned my house including carpet and dropped keys in mail box.

I requested leasing office to schedule a move out inspection with me but they did not scheduled. I checked my online account to verify the balances at that I see charges for carpet replacement.

I've been in same apartment for 1 year 1 month, As a human we made some stains on carpet but we used carpet cleaner to cleaned as much as possible but they said we need to pay for carpet replacement fee instead of cleaning fee.

I reside in one of the locations that is managed by this company. I have lived there for now less than a month and moved into an apartment which was less than sub par. We submitted pictures and documentation after our very rushed walk through and all parties agreed (including the property management) that the apartment that we moved into was a dropped ball. Below are the issues which we found upon move in Oct 14, 2017. (1) A hole in the wall behind the front door where to door handle had been smashing against the wall. A leak which persisted for 3 days and was not remedied until after we reported our carpet was soaked when we moved in. We lived for 3-4 days with holes in the wall where you could physically hear the water running down the pipes. As a result of this leak which was not fixed prior to move, there was brown rust stains in the master bathroom. (2) Our kitchen floors has burns in the floor, we have to cover these holes with a rug because it has not been replaced. (3) The mirror in our master bath has chipped in several places. We requested that this is fixed however, it was noted that the mirror is functional and will not be replaced. (4) It appears that an object was thrown at the window in bedroom #2 prior to move in. This the room where my infant daughter will be sleeping. We were told that since the object did not penetrate the glass, it would not be replaced. There are two places in the window where this has occurred and still no replacement is scheduled. We are fearful that if anything else tries to penetrate the glass it will be shattered and heaven's forbid that my infant daughter is in the room. (5) The door frame on bedroom #2 looks like it has been broken in several places, again no remedy for this issue. (6) The property charges residents for "amenities" which are hardwood floors and a screened patio on first floor apartments. There are literally deer that will come to your door if you do not have this screen yet residents have to pay for it. Not to mentioned the screen door was not installed when we moved in (although it was included in pro-rated rent). The hardwood floor amenity was also installed improperly (yet we paid for it with the pro-rated rent). (7) Our coat closet needed to be replaced because it was repulsive on the inside, plenty of rust and dust which had built up and was never cleaned. All of this to say, it is rather appalled that this property offered me $100 for the inconveniences that all of these repairs and clean up. $100 is a slap in the face, we spent countless hours trying to get these things repaired and it put into perspective that this poorly run business does not have their residents best interest at heart. Our apartment cost over $2,000 and that's without a pet rent included. We moved from a 3-bedroom townhouse that was very well maintained for less than $2,000. We had our reasons for moving due to planning for a second child but at this point it has just been too costly without any sort of recourse. The property manager did respond and apologize and offer us this $100 but it is worth readers and future residents to know that you should not move here. Please take my review seriously, this is not a business that you will feel valued, they will insult you with their "little" remedies and stick a bandage on it. Although the customer service was wonderful getting in the apartment but it was not worth $2,000 to stay in place that if inspected would not come close to what we are paying. I'd like to ground myself in a community and it does not seem that this is the place where I can do so. Please do not move here. Don't waste you time, money, and/or energy.
