home. The lease agreements signed by [redacted] and executed dictates that if the lease is broken the lease holder will remain rent responsible until the end of the lease or until the unit becomes occupied by another renter. In addition to rent it is also the reasonability for residents breaking the lease to pay the expenses for redecorating the apartment including administrative cost. As notices to vacate are received in our office, the respective units are placed on our rental availability list. All units are marketed and priced uniformly as was the case with [redacted]'s previous apartment. The order of events are consistent with a resident breaking their lease and vacating the apartment (1)Notice to vacate received from [redacted] 12/19/14, (2) 12/22/14 Acknowledgement of improper notice letter sent to [redacted], (3) 1/27/15 Pre-vacate inspection scheduled (4) 1/31/15 Keys received. [redacted]'s desire to sublease after giving up procession of the units moving out is not permitted. Subleasing is an option for current residents, which was explained a number of times before [redacted] turned in her keys, Her desire to sublease was only inquired on after being informed that the application on her previous apartment did not qualify for approval. The potential renter she introduced was not interested in her unit based on the rental rate and term they wanted.|[redacted] ** [redacted] ** ** [redacted]Kind regards,Shonda D[redacted] Property Manager Congressional Towers

Hi Revdex.com,
I reject the response from the leasing office,
it was no different than their previous communications to me
The leasing office took my Febrent but
denied me access to the apt., when I realized that they didn't have my best
interest at heart, they could have taken an application from the subtenant I
found and mitigated my damages, this is constructive eviction
I have no obligation to pay further rentI
deserve a release from the lease when they arbitrarily withhold their consent
to sublease my aptand I demand my Febrent back and my deposit backIf they
insist that I am still obligated to pay the rent until April 30th,
they should allow me to use the apt, which they denied to give back my keys and
told me to re-apply for the apt in order to get the keys back
The lease became unenforceable when it is
so blatantly one-sided, the leasing office left me no rights to the apt, only obligations
I should not be held responsible for the rent/leasing agreement anymore when
they did so
Thanks,

I am a tenant at a location for Polinger Shannon & Luchs Co., it is the most unprofessional establishment I've encountered in a while. I call and have very general questions about rent and/or tenant issues, the "representative" who answers the phone is very uninformed. Their response (since I've had to call several times about rent payments) is always "I don't have access to that system, please leave me your name, number, address, and I will have someone call." I have yet to receive a call back from my initial request from about a month ago, nor from the e-mail submitted (which was also a general request). I finally got the issue resolved because the office manager was on her way to her car and I happen to catch her prior to going home. I attempt to take care of things via the phone/e-mail because of my work schedule. There was a change in management at the beginning of this year (2015), many things got much worse since them. There have been many issues with threatening evictions due to records not being updated, which greatly effects person's credit. I am currently contemplating breaking the lease.
