Review: I went to Polished on May 2, the day before my wedding. I brought two friends who also got their nails done. All of us experienced problems with our manicures, but mine was definitely the worst. One of my cuticles had been torn to the point of bleeding, and the technician put so much nail polish on that even after an hour or two, I couldn't touch anything without messing them up. I went back once after lunch to have one of my nails fixed, and even after that, the polish was still not completely dry and several more of the nails were ruined.

Because I had my rehearsal and dinner that night, I couldn't go back and have them fixed for the second time, so I ended up just taking the polish off and having another bridesmaid do my nails the next day while I got my hair done for the wedding. I called and left a message telling the salon about the bad service I experienced and asking for a refund. I was emailed by the owner shortly after that and offered a credit to try a different product, but I very clearly asked for a refund because I no longer live in town and will not be visiting their salon again.

On May 6th someone named [redacted] emailed me asking for my address so they could send me a refund check. I gave them my address on May 7th and have since been waiting for the check. I followed up on June 2nd to see if the check had been mailed, and [redacted] asked me on June 7th if I had received it, which I still hadn't. On June 12 I asked for some confirmation that the check had been mailed and mentioned that if I didn't hear back I would be filing a complaint with the Revdex.com, which is what I'm doing now, on June 16.Desired Settlement: I just want to be refunded for the service I paid for on May 2.
