My service haven't worked properly from day one it was installedI have given them several opportunities to fix the problem and they still didn't get it rightAfter the last attempt for them to come outI was making the appointment during that I asked for some type of relief on my bill for the inconvenienceI was told no so that's when I decided I no longer wanted their equipment in my homeThey wasn't willing to work with me so why should I work with themIHC's whole staff is rude, unprofessional, and liarsI haven't had services with them for months. I've had it for going on monthsAll I want is to feel safe in my home again and for IHC to come get their equipment out of my home ASAP

Not one time did we ever have a call from customer about a system not responding and having a break in at their home until we started calling about the past due amountAt that time they told us they had moved and didn’t want service anymoreWe explained the contract to them and then that’s when they stated about a break inWe have no way of verifying that there was a break in or if system was even armed if there was a break inWe explained that we would move it for free and yes we agreed to waive a portion of the past due amount as a good faith gestureWe scheduled to reinstall system at new home and sent installer out to installHe was not there to sign for itThey got him on the phone and he stated he wanted a different system and different cameras, more equipment but didn’t want to pay for itHe wouldn’t sign the change of address document or agree for us to reinstallHe is currently in default and will soon chargeback as we have made him awareOnce it charges back it will go to attorney for civil actionOur company cannot invest over $in equipment and labor and just walk away from it

The whole reason I stoped paying is because the system never went off when the home was broken intoAnd the rep said that I would pay half of the over due balance and that ihc would pay the other half for all the troubles I have hadIhc has failed to do thatAnd when a system fails to do the job when needed I would think that would be breech of contract

Customer knows they signed an agreement and has been provided a copyThey signed an acknowledgment that the agreement was signed through EdocsWe installed well over $worth of equipment for customer at no charge to them in exchange for signing a month agreement to have system monitored
through usThe customer moved and quit paying monitoring dueWe offered to move system for customer free of charge and they agreed and we sent installer out to move system and they were supposed to pay past due amountThey haven’t paid past due amount and agreement is in default and has charged back, so yes according to the agreement it has been assigned to attorney for civil action

The reason the customer didn’t receive any paperwork that day was because it was only a work orderThe installer gets the agreement signed which then begins the day cancellation time and that’s when the paperwork is left with customerCustomer was made aware that we charge the first month the
day of or the day before install and since the customer didn’t call but let us drive out to home for the install before being told to cancel, the first month was chargedYes we received the letter to cancelYes we have cancelled the charge and refunded the $and no other charges will occurBut the processing of a refund and it showing back into account takes at least 7-days, especially during Christmas/New Year Holiday when offices are closed as well as banks

Yes we charge the first month before we drive out to install the system especially when the system is being installed on a Saturday,which is what customer had scheduled. The office is closed on the weekend. On Monday the 18th the office was informed of the cancellation. The cancellation was processed on the 19th. Today is the 2nd. That’s 14 days with 4 of them being the weekend and 2 were Holidays. 7-10 business days is the normal time it takes to process a business days. It has been cancelled and the refund has been made. I have no control on how long it takes the bank to process it.

System was working fine. If it’s not working all she has to do is call office and we will send a tech out to repair it all at no charge. We will not however let her out of an agreement that we have invested over $1500 installing the system.

We should have already received the refund back but have not.

When we installed the system for Ms. [redacted] there was no mention of window contacts. After 5 months of service the customer requested that her windows be contacted. We quoted a price and customer did not want to pay for them. To make the customer happy we agreed to install the 6 window contacts...

at no charge. The alarm system was working and service was provided. Since we already have provided the window contacts ($540 with of equipment) at no charge, new do not feel we should reimburse for the monitoring fee when the system was working and all services were provided for the months charged.

She already filed one complaint and it was resolved. Her system works fine she just wants all her windows contacted for free. We tried to satisfy her and give her window contacts for free. Then she wants a refund for her service because she didn’t have the window contacts that she never paid for. We can’t give equipment free and monitoring free.

[redacted] we did not request the install to be done on that Saturday it was set up for us. We will drop this complaint when 1.we receive our refund in full and 2. When we are sure that we will not be charged again. Ihc has sent someone to our home as of yesterday to pick up their signs.  As far as your explanation of the 14 days waiting it upsets me that you can take out a payment in one night but I have to wait 14 days or more to get it back. Like I said  1. Still waiting on my refund and 2 making sure my account doesn’t get charged again.
