On the job with the shower pan it was explained to the customer that the tile would not match. When Polk County Plumbing demoed the shower the floor was OSB particle board. It was soaked and falling through. Polk County Plumbing at No cost to the customer outside of our contract replaced with 3/4"...
pressure treated plywood and 1/4" hardibacker. The customer has pictures of all this extra work. While this was going on it was reaffirmed to the customer the tile wound Not match. Tile is made in lots and not duplicated. The customer has a properly installed waterproof shower. The previous one was not. We contracted to do a shower pan with 4 rows of tile. We did more than what was contracted and the customer was informed about not being able to match tile.
