[redacted] new flooring matching her choice and she refuse to accept. We have email proving that we inform [redacted] the floor is special order and it will take a few weeks to obtain.We delivered to her apartment Underlayment $1,584 from the contract and it is in her possession.  We have manufactured baseboard - it is in our shop - $500We purchased the floor from Home depot and it took 6 week for the Home dDepot to inform us about the final day of pick up. [redacted] was informed about the situation. The day of the pick up we informed [redacted] that we had the wood floor in our truck with all material and tools to start Monday the job. She agreed. Monday when we showed up in her apartment she refuses to let us do the work and we returned to the shop. The floor return as special order was 15% restocking fee - $1,250 + $500 for the paperwork to return. + $950 for the worker spent the time picking up and returning the floor. Due the contract cancellation we lost 4 days for 4 workers idling + 2 days office work for the contract preparation. I strongly disagree to return the deposit as we lost more money then $9,000 during the preparation. Not our fault as the delay was caused by Home depot and we have supporting emails.
