I stayed at poison park motel on Aug with my spouse.resevation number [redacted] We stayed 4hours only due to getting bites from bedbugs They pool was full of [redacted] and old infested beds where lined up against the pool The yard and barbecues where unusable.The room itself was filthy The owner contacted me offering me a full refund Booking .com has offered me 25dollars refund I got nothing as of yet This is no place too stay ..especially if you have kids We had to got get treatment at the local hospital for the bedbug bites then wash everything the next day to get rid of bugs [redacted] Beware is my warning stay out of this motel unless your interested in going to the hospital Please don't take your children to this motel it's also in the junky part of town[redacted]

This occurred on 30JulDue to circumstances beyond our control, we were forced to find lodgingsWe were able to book a room at Polson Park Motel, Vernon BC We received an email confirmation after the booking but did not open it because viruses were attached & the email was quarantined When we got to Vernon I searched for directions to the hotel & a site popped up with reviews warning people to stay away because of bed bugs & other issues Since we were concerned about the reviews, we asked to see the roomThe proprietor was amenable & said that if we were not satisfied with the room we could cancel the bookingThe room was hot, dirty, noisy & smelled so bad that it made my stomach turnThe AC did not work There were fitted sheets & mattress protectors on the bedsWhen questioned, they got very rude, defensive & then would not refund the money We did want to risk the chance of getting bed bugsWe were charged $*** CDA *** contacted the motel but reversal
