Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The firm simply dropped the ballPerhaps they have too much business to really make the proper effort tobe fair and diligentThey have blamed me for their short comingsyears of sitting on a case, collecting money up frontand sending or e-mailsIn the meantime, my tax problems never were attended to and I firmly believe this is a very badbusiness and business practiceAll I asked for was a refund of my money I paid them at the beginningIt's a shame whena business is allowed to collect fees for work that is not performedThat is what happened and I will remain firm on this until those funds are returned to meI also highly recommend others to avoid them Sincerely, [redacted] ***

In response to Ms [redacted] 's concern about the time frame of her case and how long it has taken thus far, our firm would never guarantee a time frame of 6-months to resolve an IRS liability as oftentimes we're waiting on the IRS to respond to our proposal and have no control over their response time and although we'd love to resolve cases very quickly for our clients, oftentimes we have little control over how long it takes due to this It could have been relayed to Ms [redacted] that it "could" take that long, which is true and is what Ms [redacted] 's complaint states as she specifically used the word "could", but we cannot guarantee a time frame for the reasons mentioned above On top of the fact that we cannot guarantee an exact time frame of how long an IRS case will take to resolve, the specific resolution that Ms [redacted] qualified for and that we are aiming for, which is an Offer In Compromise, takes the longest out of all IRS resolutions, but is one of the best ways to resolve an IRS liability In regards to Ms [redacted] 's concern regarding communication, our office has communicated with Ms [redacted] often throughout the process and the communication has been consistent throughout Ms [redacted] 's file was definitely never left "untouched on a desk" and has been worked and monitored the entire time she has been a client of ours Ms [redacted] has had numerous communications with attorneys in our office providing updates throughout the time we have been working on her case We take our client's concerns, and cases, VERY seriously and it saddens us to hear that Ms [redacted] is not thoroughly satisfied up through this point We have since the Revdex.com complaint spoken with Ms [redacted] and provided an update on her case and the game plan moving forward until it's resolved and per that communication with Ms [redacted] it is our understanding that we are both on the same page and are both excited and driven to bring the IRS liability to a resolution very soon!

In response to Ms [redacted] ' concerns, there seems to have been some confusion regarding the payments as Ms [redacted] ' IRS case with our office is not, and was never, on hold and the payments that were not current are related to another service that we were assisting Ms [redacted] with and our firm was simply contacting her regarding the other payments not being current.Ms [redacted] has spoken with the assigned attorney on her IRS case many times, including yesterday, and we are all now on the same page and have cleared up the confusion and we both look forward to bringing Ms [redacted] ' case to a very favorable resolution very soon!

As our previous response clearly showed, we have done everything in our power to ensure that at the end of the day the client would be satisfied with the work done for them by our firm, including but not limited to, doing further negotiations outside of what the client initially requested the firm do, after the firm had already successfully negotiated and finalized the initial resolution requested by the client We respectfully and strongly disagree that we have caused the client to be worse off than before they sought our assistance We have done everything in our power to assist the client, including speaking with them in-depth numerous times about their wishes, which then became their complaints We addressed their complaints with them in-depth both before the Revdex.com complaint, and even afterwards, to reach out and try to ensure the client understands what we have done, what we can do, and that we still will help them moving forward as much as we can We take any client concern very seriously as we strive to do the very best that we can on each and every case and always want to ensure our clients are satisfied, but in this instance, despite all that the firm has done and tried to do, the client is still not satisfied, unreasonably so, and there's not much else at this point that the firm can do that it already hasn't tried to resolve the matter Our firm takes pride in the work that we do and the results that we're able to accomplish and we are very sad that this client is not satisfied, but we feel that we have done everything in our power to try and resolve the matter, to an exhaustive extent, and are still willing to assist the client even further so that this matter can be put behind them In sum, as our previous response indicated, we strongly disagree with the statements made by the client and stand behind everything that we have done for this client

Complaint: ***

We take any client concern very seriously as we strive to do our very best for each and every client and in this particular case with Mr***, that same dedication was given to Mr*** as it is with all of our
clients. We worked extensively on Mr***’s case, going above and beyond to try and assist Mr*** in every possible way that we could in obtaining all necessary information and documentation needed to promptly and adequately resolve Mr***’s case, but after repeated attempts, through various different methods and strategies, at the end of the day Mr*** never provided everything needed for us to fully resolve his case for him. We are very sad that Mr*** feels the way that he does about our firm as again we take all client concerns very seriously, but we needed to have cooperation from Mr*** to resolve his case and unfortunately we simply did not have that in this case.”

Thank you for allowing us to respond to the ***’ complaint.Since the filing of this complaint, our firm has spoken to Mr*** & he has indicated he would like for us to continue representing them. The *** retained our firm in July to assist them with their unfiled tax returns. Our
representation was for missing tax returns for 2009-13.We advised the clients we would prepare their returns 6-months from when they provided their tax prep docs.We received all their tax prep docs by Oct 2014.*** Tax completed the returns within the promised time.We filed an Offer in Compromise (OIC) for the clients. The client called our firm and requested we withdraw the OIC.We withdrew at their request.By June 2016, we successfully reached an agreement with the IRS for a monthly payment of $250.Our firm advised the clients their case was now closed with our office. The *** then asked us to file another OIC for them. Our firm had already completed the work we had initially agreed to complete for the clients:We prepared their 2009-tax returns, created an LLC,registered it with the State, obtained an EIN,filed an OIC,withdrew the OIC,& reached an affordable payment. Our responsibilities to the client were completed. At the client’s request, we moved forward & provided additional free services by completing a new financial analysis and preparing a 2nd OIC.The 2nd OIC was filed in Nov 2016.The OIC was rejected in Oct 2017.The *** filed a complaint with the Revdex.com & cited the length of time their case has been taking. Our firm charges flat fees up front & has no incentives for any case to take an extended amount of time.Rather,we have been offering the additional assistance of our team of attorneys for free over the past several years as the clients have changed their minds on the strategy they would like to pursue. We hope it is clear to the Revdex.com that this complaint lacks any merit. We believe our legal representation demonstrates how *** Tax goes above & beyond for our clients

In response to Ms. [redacted]'s concern about the time frame of her case and how long it has taken thus far, our firm would never guarantee a time frame of 6-8 months to resolve an IRS liability as oftentimes we're waiting on the IRS to respond to our proposal and have no control over their response...

time and although we'd love to resolve cases very quickly for our clients, oftentimes we have little control over how long it takes due to this.  It could have been relayed to Ms. [redacted] that it "could" take that long, which is true and is what Ms. [redacted]'s complaint states as she specifically used the word "could", but we cannot guarantee a time frame for the reasons mentioned above.  On top of the fact that we cannot guarantee an exact time frame of how long an IRS case will take to resolve, the specific resolution that Ms. [redacted] qualified for and that we are aiming for, which is an Offer In Compromise, takes the longest out of all IRS resolutions, but is one of the best ways to resolve an IRS liability.  In regards to Ms. [redacted]'s concern regarding communication, our office has communicated with Ms. [redacted] often throughout the process and the communication has been consistent throughout.  Ms. [redacted]'s file was definitely never left "untouched on a desk" and has been worked and monitored the entire time she has been a client of ours.  Ms. [redacted] has had numerous communications with attorneys in our office providing updates throughout the time we have been working on her case.  We take our client's concerns, and cases, VERY seriously and it saddens us to hear that Ms. [redacted] is not thoroughly satisfied up through this point.  We have since the Revdex.com complaint spoken with Ms. [redacted] and provided an update on her case and the game plan moving forward until it's resolved and per that communication with Ms. [redacted] it is our understanding that we are both on the same page and are both excited and driven to bring the IRS liability to a resolution very soon!

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I strongly disagree with their response because they were misleading from beginning. They misled us and put fear in us about IRS in order to get our business. We told [redacted] we didnt know even if we owed anything. I told her we dint hear anything from IRS. She said they know. We were waiting to get our taxes done in the 6 to 9 months she proposed to see where we stand. That would had let us know what we owed and that we didn't need their services before the following year deadline. Instead we feel like we were put on the back burner because were not that important as bigger firms. I know this because they took 14 months to finalize on our taxes making the following year late dragging the IRS further into our lives. Respectfully if they would have just did our taxes in reasonably amount of time they and we could had seen that I owed only about a $1000 dollars less than I paid them. We had heard from the IRS before they were even done with our taxes. After the following year was late we were told to wait for next year taxes to be included. 3 plus years drug by waiting on them and responses from IRS. Many letters and intents to levy. Even toward the end we were told to withhold information from IRS in order to work a plan.Later told by someone else different. I have documents what they did and didn't do. I don't know how they can say they did everything they say they did. We have since revoked their services and spoke with the IRS personally about this issue. In one conversation with them worked out a deal with no leins or levys. If I had known it was that easy I would had never contacted their office. I was sold by their commercial and feel taken and misled by part of their firm.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: The firm simply dropped the ball. Perhaps they have too much business to really make the proper effort tobe fair and diligent. They have blamed me for their short comings. 3 years of sitting on a case, collecting money up frontand sending 2 or 3 e-mails. In the meantime, my tax problems never were attended to and I firmly believe this is a very badbusiness and business practice. All I asked for was a refund of my money I paid them at the beginning. It's a shame whena business is allowed to collect fees for work that is not performed. That is what happened and I will remain firm on this until those funds are returned to me. I also highly recommend others to avoid them.
Sincerely,

We had a customer submit a complaint and we have since resolved the issue with them.
