Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I contacted [redacted] on December 26, 2013, not January 23 2014, to let her know that I was going to take her up on her offer to have another comforter made from another pattern of my son's choosing. She emailed me on 1/16/14 to let me know that the comforter was at the quilters and it would be 1 week to 10 days to be ready. I emailed her on 2/10/14 to check on it, it still was not ready. I emailed her again on 3/14/14 and was told that it still wasn't ready and that she didn't want to piss off the quilters since they were the only ones in California. I emailed her again on 4/16.14 and got no response. I went to her website about a week later and sent her an email through her site. Still no response. I felt ignored and taken for a fool that I trusted [redacted] would make another comforter. On June 18 2014, my husband suggested of contacting the Revdex.com to hopefully resolve the issue. I was told that they would try to contact the business and would give 2 weeks to get a response before making a 2nd and final attempt but there was no way they can make the business respond. On 7/6/14,  I still had not heard anything, my son's birthday was coming up and he wanted a comforter, the one I purchased from [redacted] was his only Christmas gift and he still didn't have one. I bought one from another business and figured it was a lost cause to hope to get the comforter from [redacted]. Coincidently, the very next day on 7/7/14, I get a response from [redacted] saying the comforter was ready back in April and why would I think that she got my email and that she only emails customers once and then she is done. Well I tried to contact her several times and felt ignored with no response. I told [redacted] when I was in her warehouse getting the original comforter my son's story. He made a king sized bed from cherry wood in wood shop 6 months before. He had an accident 1 month after making his bed and now has a severe brain injury and was extremely lucky to be alive. When he finally came home from the hospital, all he wanted was a nice comforter for the bed he made, he would be spending a lot of time in it. He has short term memory loss and that is the least of his disabilities but to have him ask me everyday about his comforter was not only hard for me but torture for him. It would be one thing if this comforter was for me but it was for my son who's one wish was for a comforter and I wanted to give him that because even though he had been thru a lot, my son was still alive. Many people don't understand brain injuries but if you knew someone with one, you would understand the repeated frustration and sadness my son has gone thru everyday asking about his comforter due to his short term memory loss. To have to spend more money on something I already purchased 6 months ago has been tough financially on me. My son's only Christmas gift was a comforter that he never got and his only birthday present was a comforter that he finally gets to use. At this point, after all of this, I would gladly give [redacted] back the original, unopened, untouched comforter and would greatly appreciate a refund of the $160 I paid. This all has just been too much and I would just like to move on. Thank you.
Regards,
