Insurance Fraud The wrong person was billed as the patient My money needs to be refunded and the wrongful insurance claim reversed
My son, ***, was on an ambulance on 2/22/17, trip number *** My husband, ***, was billed as the patient By law, you are not allowed to bill someone who did not receive the services This is insurance fraud I have made Rural Metro aware of this mistake on 5/5/ I have contacted them once to twice a week ever since I have gotten my insurance company, Anthem, involved, and they have started calling out to the company with me, and we now have >phone calls on a recorded line Michael T, manager at Rural Metro (employee #C0080617) has agreed on 7/26/& 8/3/to refund the full $1,and to reverse the claim against my husband He could not provide me a timeframe when this would happen He agreed to send an email confirming this would happen, but I never received the confirmation email He could not

After an ambulance ride in December I was told by this company that my insurance denied the claimI paid the bill, and then was notified by my insurance that they issued a payment as wellIt has now been over months since both payments were received and no refund has been issuedCustomer service claims a refund has been approved but can not even provide a time line on when it will be issuedThis company is scamming patients in need

The hospital used this company to transport my husband from one hospital to another so I didn't get to choose the company that was used Received a bill, paid the bill in full in October 2016, started receiving collection letters from collection company in February Provided proof that I paid the account Received another collection letter in May and now they acknowledge my payment It took them months to acknowledge my payment that they cashed on 10/18/

Insurance never filed and account sent to collections after giving insurance info numerous times
On July 21/my husband was taken by ambulance to Leesburg hospital After receiving the first bill I call Rural/Metro Ambulance with the insurance information This happened numerous times that we received a bill and I had to call with insurance info To 09/19/I receive a phone call from a collections agency stating that insurance denied the claim I talked to the insurance company and no claim was ever filed I don't think that we should have a collection on us for something that should have and would have been paid a year ago had Rural / Metro filed the insurance properly Today I also had the insurance company on a recorded line call the collection company and gave them the correct insurance info again

I consider this to be fraudulent billing, as they are knowingly going after my mother's estate for their own billing mistake
I received an EOB from United Healthcare, turning down a claim made by Rural Metro for ambulance service for my mother on 5/12/When I called to find out why it wasn't covered, I found they had entered the wrong member number for her insuranceI immediately called Rural Metro to correct the problemThey said they wouldI never received any bill involving Rural MetroUntil we filed probate after her death, at which time they claimed the estate owed $I've contacted them three times, with her CORRECT insurance number, coverage, and the original document where I made notes about the incorrect numberThis is their fault, not mineYet they refuse to take responsibility for it and have filed a lien against the estate

I have received a collection notice (from ***) for ambulance services rendered in June in the amount of $ I have never received a bill from Rural Metro Corporation, and all bills should have been submitted to our insurance provider*** in I have been unable to reach Rural Metro Corporation and am constantly placed on hold with no pick up from the company I am appalled that they have not used proper billing procedures, never submitted this to our insurance, and have had no contact with me and after years have sent this to a collection agency I am also concerned that my credit rating has been hurt by these practices

I received a bill for $from Rural MetroI spoke with Al at Rural Metro in Knoxville TN and all he wanted to do was sale me a memebershipI faultlessly had my alarm go off at my place of business of years for the first time and explained my circumstances to himStill, he kept going back to the membership sale(I have had an account with Rutal Metro with my home residence for 20+years but that did not seem to help my circumstance.) He later agreed to give me 20% off of the $$billI repeated the above to him and he ggave me 30% so my charges were $$1015.00- still an large amount for nothing! I have always heard that rule Metro is all about the money and now I believe it! I am definitely looking for business elsewhere with my home!

After ambulance ride they ignored my insurance information even though my insurance covers ambulance transport and they sent my bill to collections
