This was a horrible experience from the start I should have known not to go with this roofer when he failed to meet with the insurance person at the first agreed upon time After that things went from bad to worse He was over one week late to start working on the roof The roofing tear off took nearly a week During this time he dumped half the roofs building material on my neighbors lawn He left if there for over a month before he had the time to come back to clean up his mess Over this time my neighbor threatened to call the police on me, and rightly so He kept telling me for weeks he would be there right away He is just a dishonest person He also kept stating when he was bidding on the roof how he was the best price around Do not believe this he might be low, but there are people out there who will do a good job for the same money don't get caught by [redacted] 's lies After that first week [redacted] decided he had other more important things to do other than finish my roof so it sat unfinished for a month During this time we had a storm I got interior water damage I was pretty upset and started to get on him about finishing things I was at the house when he showed on one of the final visits and as he come on my property he start cursing me to his crew He never fixed the ceilings which had major water damage After the neighbors call me furious on a few occasions I had to move all the shingles and trash out of my neighbors yard myself It took quite some time I had to pile it all in my back yard He killed like half their grass which I had to replace We agreed that he would fix one piece of my facia, which he also never did He asked to use my garage to hold his stuff and I loaned him my garage door opener to do this, which he never returned I also had a piece of soffet which was falling off after his work was complete, though he claims that it was like that when he started the work Even so it would have been the sort of things any decent roofer would have just fixed He also told me I wouldn't have to worry about the items in my attic (which was a walk in attic pretty nice), because things wouldn't be affected After the first day of work I went up there and everything was coated in shingles and dust Like an inch or dust everywhere It took days to clean, and even though Mr [redacted] said he would help with this, he liedThe thing that really took the cake was when I sold the place the inspector didn't even have to go on the roof to comment on what a poor job the roofer had done [redacted] did decide to knock $off the cost of the roof because even he realized that he did a horrible job You can decide if $is worth the trouble Oh yes the main thing the inspector commented on was the fact the roofer did not flash around the chimney This was allowing you to see sunlight from the attic and cause even more damage to the house To get this repaired I was quoted $ I would never hired this man
