The customers states that we did not pay there first payment, but that is incorrect.GM Financial deducted the first payment from the proceeds they paid us on the contract as part of the program set by both them and General Motors and confirmed by GM FinancialAs far as late payments go we have no
control over how a customer pays there monthly paymentsYou would have to contact GM Financial with customer permission to have them release their payment history to youIf you need further information please feel free to contact me.Tell us why here

I
am in receipt of the complaint filed by [redacted] concerning his
purchase of a 2010 Honda Odyssey.  Upon our review of the matter it
appears that [redacted] claims are without merit.

The customer submitted a credit application for the purchase of a
vehicle at our dealership.  We were able to get [redacted] approved for a
loan, however, the amount that the lender was willing to offer was
insufficient to purchase the vehicle [redacted] originally selected.  We
then showed [redacted] several vehicles and he ultimately decided to
voluntarily purchase the 2011 Honda Odyssey.  All terms and conditions
of the sale and the loan were fully and conspicuously disclosed by Curry
and reviewed with the customer prior to delivery.  There was no
objections made by [redacted] and he voluntarily executed all of the
sales and loan documents.

Curry
provides every customer with an opportunity to inspect and test drive
every vehicle prior to delivery.  We do not recall if [redacted]
actually test drove the vehicle prior to delivery but he had every
opportunity to do so and no such request would have been refused.

The issues related to the delay in registering the vehicle are solely
due to [redacted] failure to have the vehicle timely inspected in his
home state of Connecticut.  Curry informed [redacted] prior to delivery
that he would be responsible for having the inspection performed in
Connecticut and he agreed to have the vehicle inspected.  Curry
processed the title paperwork for the transaction but the registration
process needed to be completed by the customer in Connecticut as he
purchased the vehicle in New York.  The inspection was recently
completed by the customer and the plates were sent by overnight mail to
the customer on July *, 2016.

Curry
is unaware of any front end damage sustained by the vehicle.  A CARFAX
report was prepared and provided to the customer at time of sale which
clearly indicates that the vehicle has no prior accident history.  There
was no evidence of any front end damage during the pre-delivery
inspection of the vehicle.  [redacted] did not report any issues with
the vehicle until nine (9) days after delivery.  The customer was
instructed to make an appointment for service but has yet to do so.  [redacted] is welcome to schedule an appointment for service at any time.
He purchased an extended warranty in addition to the Lemon Law Warranty
he received at delivery.  If any of the items are covered they will be
repaired under the terms of those warranty agreements.  If they are not
covered then he will be asked to pay for any such repairs.

Curry regrets that [redacted] is not satisfied with his purchase but
there was nothing improper in the manner in which the sale was
conducted.  If there are service issues the customer is welcome to
schedule an appointment with our service department.

Should you have any questions please feel free to give me a call.

Thank you
