Review: Granite counter top is splitting where the installer made a seam. I have been calling on and off every week for 8 months always being told"he (the owner Gioseppi) will call me back, or when will I be home to make an appointment, or even if I can pick up someone from the shop to bring them to my house to repair and then bring him back to the shop!!!

Kelly is the receptionist and has spoken to me numerous times and agrees that "it is terrible the way 'he' is handling this".

This company has been reported by channel 7 "7 ON YOUR SIDE" for repairs not made on a renovation.Desired Settlement: satisfactory repair or replacement of the counter.

Review: Made an order for our bathroom tile about 2 months ago paid the entire balance in cash. We have yet to recieve our material and when we reach out for our refund every week its a different story. At this point all we want is our money back bit they keep saying come back next week we will have your money for you.Desired Settlement: We are requesting a full refund if they cannnot give us the material that we ordered

Review: Our house was damaged from hurricane sandy and needed new countertops. I hired [redacted] at Pompei Marble and Granite to install my counter tops. If I knew how he was a business person, I would have never hired him. I been dealing with this issue for over 4 months now. Th original granite countertop that was installed in my kitchen was put on incorrectly because the owner did not use a template. He told us that he's been doing this for many years now and he doesn't need a template. As he was installing the granite countertop, he damaged the bottom cabinets by moving them and cracking them because he stated that the bottom cabinets were not leveled. I had to get my contractor involved and he took the measurements and everything was leveled but now because the way the granite guy was moving the cabinets, they made them unleveled. The only way to fix the cabinets was to get the countertop removed. After several weeks of getting in contact with the granite guy, he finally came to the house and removed the grant top. This company gave me the wrong size counter tops, cuts wholes into my walls to have the countertop fit in and broke my bottom cabinets. The owner was jerking us around for the past couple of months telling us he can't give us our money back but he is willing to replace it with different countertops. I been waiting and calling nonstop and the owner refused to call me back. He would tell me he would come and make a template and then never shop up. He would make his workers lie to me by telling me he wasn't available. I begged him to give me my money back and he refused. All I want at this point is my money back so I can get my countertops installed from a different company. Please help!IDesired Settlement: The only outcome I want at this point is a full refund of the amount of $3,300 in which I paid for the counterops.

The new granite has not been installed, as of today. There have been multiple times where I have reached out to Pompei and where they have provided me with false responses. I even went to the showroom to find out what the status is and yet again, they have provided me with false responses. After waiting several months, [redacted] decided to replace the counter-tops with new counter-tops. [redacted] of Pompei, [redacted], came to my house about 3 weeks ago to create a template for the new granite counter-tops. I was told that it will be completed within the week. As of today, there has been no counter-tops installed and after reaching out several times they provide false responses regarding when the granite will be ready and installed. At this point with over 6 months of lag to correct the mistake they created, I would like my money back.
