First, let me say that I didn't respond to your initial notice because the Revdex.com on the envelope led me to think that it was from a BB organization/promotion;my apologies.Ms ***, made a reservation with me in the Spring and sent her deposit in a timely manner; I confirmed her reservation.In
August she sent me a long list of things that I was supposed to do during their stay: what to prepare for meals, what time they were supposed to be served etcI have been in the BB business for years and have never had a guest who behaved in that mannerI frequently have guests who are vegetarians or in need of special diets, which I accommodate but this was over the lineI responded to her saying what I could and couldn't doShe respondby canceling, at which time she was under the "no refund" umbrella for depositsI notified her, saying that I could refund the deposit if someone else were to make a reservation for the spotI did get another reservation and followed up with a check to the address that she gave me-end of Sept..She notified me a week or two later asking when she would get the refundI responded that it had been put in the mail.A week or two later, in Oct., she notified me, that the check hadn't been received and that I should put another one in the mailNeedless to say, I wasn't going to send a second check, with the first out there floating around.I said I would send a second check at the beginning of NovThis would entail canceling the first $35, and she insisted that send it certified mail $6.50. None of this was my fault, nor was it hers-these things happenI said that I would split the cost of the second check with her and sent a check for $135.in the mail, certified Nov.3.She has since received the check.I hope that this clarifies the issues concerned.*** ***The Pond House Inn***, VT ***

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. Please add your rejection comments below. wow.  So the website that isn't around anymore mentioned sat night dinner and I admit I did misread an email regarding food.  I also inquired about the breakfast time since it is a bed and BREAKFAST!  My mistake for wanting what I would have paid for.  Further more I canceled withIN the timeline for a refund due to the fact my dog needed emergency surgery and would Not be able to make the trip with us.  There was never an issue about rebooking.  I have every email correspondence saved and would be happy to provide them all. We were frustrated with the fact that we canceled in august and didn't recieve our refund till November, when we needed it to pay towards said surgery.  I would also like to offer proof of this if neccessary.  I have emails of her saying she would mail the refund and when I followed up she had no checks.  She also didn't have our address.  Let me make this clear.  If she deposited my check she had all my info including my banking information and could have done a transfer if mailing a check was that complicated for her.  She sent my husband proof of a stop payment. The hotel was booked under [redacted].  Yes my checks have my maiden name [redacted].  She wrote the check out to [redacted],  so even if I received the first check it would have been useless.  We asked for tracking since we found her very unreliable.  She asked us to wait until November 1st to remail a new check.  Then on the 2she informed us she was out of town and would mail it next week.   Please tell me if you find this acceptable.  This whole thing is just adorable.Now another thing I would like to point out.  I work for attorneys all my life, in the accounting department. Stop payments are a company expense, never ever the client.   If the electric company lost a check would she sent them $15 less?   And since we are on this,  I also have an email stating the stop payment cost $25 and pay pal cost $5 and she felt it fair to split the cost.  [redacted] was never used, cause that clearly would have been to easy.  I honestly believe she owes us $15.  This is NOT good or fair business practice to play the victim and lie inconsistently.   Maybe we just have respect for our clients in New York.  And yes the collections attorneys at my office are on notice in regards to this matter.  I appreciate all efforts from Revdex.com to either right this matter and/or ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else.  Thank you for your time.Regards,
