Ponderay Marine Products

Review: My boat, an 18' Four Winns, was taken to Ponderay Marine Products (PMP)in Sandpoint, Idaho in October, 2013 for "winterization". I was told that, in the spring, all I had to do was fill it with gas and go!In the spring, on or about May 10th., I put the boat in the water for the first time this year. After traveling approx. a mile, the "outdrive" began making a terrible screeching sound. Before I could get back to the dock, there was a loud "bang" at the rear of the boat and the motor shut down. After being towed to the nearest marina, They discovered that the outdrive had been destroyed because PMP did not put gear oil back into the outdrive after completing their winterization.Upon taking it back to Ponderay Marine Products the next day, [redacted] (business owner) concurred that the outdrive was destroyed due to his neglegence. In fact, stating that on the work order to repair it. Though I was told it would take two weeks to repair it, at this writting (July 6th., 2013) it has been nearly eight weeks and it is still not fixed. Though [redacted] (PMP) answered two of my calls a month ago, he now refuses to answer both my phone calls and emails. Having been out of town for the last seven weeks, I've sent my proxys to PMP twice. Both times they were told that he is "having troiuble locating the necessary parts. Ironically, I have sent him (both email and U.S. Mail) information regarding where to locate the required parts, but apparently,he refuses to purchase them. Summer's here! I want my boat back in good, running condition!Desired Settlement: I am asking for nothing more than to have Ponderay Marine Products return my boat to the condition it was in before the fateful day I took it to them for winterizing. It had no more that 170 hours on it and it ran like new!
