have been wirh Ponds heating and air for over years and have had every need filled in timely and satisfactory manner would recommend to any of my friends

My experience with Pond's Heating & Cooling was a very good oneCody the service tech was friendly, knowledgeable & courteousThe service charge was very reasonable

I initially called to have Ponds tell me why my air conditioner wasn't workingThe day of the appointment, I called them and asked if he was still coming minutes after appt timeNo one answered so I went to workHe finally called and admitted he forgotHe arrived at my house an hour after the original time, removed the reusable filter for my air conditioner to clean it (which he never cleaned) and told me he would call me Monday after he researched if the air conditioner was under warrantyThen he says, I owe him $for the service callMrPond didn't tell me about this when I made the appointment over the phoneIt was a surpriseI was a little put off and thought, at a minimum, it should be waived cause he forgot about the appointment and I had to call and remind himHad to take off work for this! SoMonday, no call so I called to hear the results of the warrantyNothingTuesday, I call againWas told MrPond will call tomorrowFinally, on Wednesday I get a voicemail with the results of the researchThen he sent me my $billI still got charged! I sent the check and made a note, in good consciousness, you won't cash the checkThey cashed it
I understand people get busy, make mistakes, and forget thingsThat's okBut if you keep messing up, you make it right by waiving charges!
1) Got blindsided by the surprise charge
2) Pond was a no show and had to call to remind him of appt
3) Gave researched information to me days lateIn total, since appt was on a Friday, it took days to figure out it wasn't under warranty?!?! Glad I wasn't in a hurry!
4) I may have still used MrPond for the replacement of the a/c if he had waived the $because of (see and 2)
I called someone elseThey didn't charge me anything to tell me my a/c is broke and didn't have any surprise charges!!

I HAVE USED POND'S HEATING AND COOLING SERVICES FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. I HAVE BEEN SO IMPRESSED WITH THEIR SERVICES I HAVE GIVEN THEIR NAME AND PHONE NUMBER TO NUMEROUS FRIENDS AND FAMILY. MY DAUGHTER USED YOUR SERVICE FOR THE FIRST TIME ON AN EMERGENCY CALL. SHE WAS SERIOUSLY ILL AT THE TIME. YOUR SERVICE MAN WAS SO UNDERSTANDING OF HER CONDITION AND GAVE HER OPTIONS TO REPAIR THE SYSTEM. IN THIS DAY AND AGE THIS RARELY HAPPENS. HARRY HAS COME HIMSELF WHEN WE HAD AN EMERGENCY. TODAY WE HAD A SERVICE MAN NAMED MONTY. HE WAS SO POLITE AND EFFICIENT. THANK YOU PONDS FOR THE GREAT SERVICE L.D. OCALA, FLORIDA
