Pooch Pals

Review: Pooch Pals dog walking service put our dog at serious risk on two separate occasions. On Friday, July 18, the company representative assigned to walk our dog did not show up, leaving the dog crated for over 9 hours. Over the ensuing weekend, Pooch Pals was unresponsive to inquiries about the matter. On the following Monday, another representative, who was unauthorized and unfamiliar to us and our pet, lost the dog while attempting to take him for a walk. Despite a search for the animal that day, which admittedly included the Pooch Pals rep for a portion of the day, the dog was not found. We found the dog the following day in the neighborhood, with minor injuries. On Wednesday, July 23, I contacted the Pooch Pals rep to terminate service. I was not able to speak to the individual and left a voice mail message to terminate service. as of July 27, we still have not been contacted to discuss the matter or to make arrangements to return our house key. At this time, we don't even know who has the key.Desired Settlement: Given that Pooch Pals has a key to our house and appears to have no intention to return it, I took action to protect my home and family by rekeying the front door lock at my expense ($125). I desire reimbursement for this expense.
