We had previously discussed with [redacted] upon his arrival XAXA was scared and was no longer used to the grooming process. We also discussed her possible sensitivities regarding her recent surgeries due to her tissue and explosion of the anal glands(because they had not been released by a vet or groomer accompanying a poor diet. HIS DOG WAS NOT TAKEN CARE OF PROPERLY). [redacted] decided to proceed with he grooming anyways. Monika(wife) even admitted that she knew it was too early to bring her in after the surgery. Her sensitivity made the grooming process very difficult for both her and the employees at Poochies Paradise. We would obviously never intentionally hurt a dog. As experienced groomers, we knew we should have two people hold her during the grooming process so that is what we did. Two people were holding her when the incident occured. It was an accident. Xaxa was moving and kicking more than your average dog because of her sensitivities. People make mistakes. We are only human. Even though a release formed was signed relieving Poochies Paradise of ALL liability. We still tried to make it as right as possible by telling Xaxa's owner, paying the vet bill, and accompanying her to the vet.The vet also said multiple times that it did not look that bad, but due to the TIP of the tail's frailness that it would have to be removed. There is not much more we could do. Once again, [redacted] signed a waiver releasing poochies paradise of ANY liability, but out of professionalism and the kindness of my heart because I care for the dogs I paid the vet bill. Poochies Paradise has tried to reach out to [redacted] several times and has had no response.We owuld also like to add that the employees that cut xaxa the first time were relieved of their duties and no longer are associated with poochies paradise and have not been since February 3, 2014.
