First of all the oil changes are free at no charge to the customer, the price of oil changes is approximately $They were not part of price of the vehicle purchaseThe 2004 Ford Escape was purchased in July The customer came in for one oil change and had no complaintsWe had a chance to sell our Facility and we didWe are not out of business, we just do not have a shop to change oil anymore, that was explained to JodiSecond, we did not cover up any repairs to the vehicle*** never had any complaints with the Ford Escape when she brought it in for her first oil changeAnd now all of a sudden she hears a noise six months after the purchase, in December Her complaint should be with the repair shop that overcharged her, $for repairs that should have cost her not more than $At this time I feel I don't owe her anythingShe has had the vehicle for nine monthsShe never complained once in writing by mail or a phone call to me. Sincerely, Robert P*** Owner/President

Hello Beth. Thanks for the response. I had clicked "for information only" because I was advised that this business is closed, but their website makes them look like they are still open and operating. At this point, I would like the business contacted. After thinking about
this further, I feel that I should be reimbursed for the "free" oil changes that I'm missing out on due to their closing, and I also feel that I should be reimbursed for some of the $that I paid a mechanic to repair the issue that I feel the business had covered up. Thank you!

Please he advised that Pool Auto Sales has reached out to *** *** to take care ofthe issues with her vehicle, Hyundai Santa FeThe vehicle was brought in andrepairs were made to her satisfaction

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The business owner is correct that I had no complaints when I came in for my first oil change.  At that time, there were no issues.  The issue in question started the end of December when the car started making noise.  I have had multiple people tell me that the issue was covered up because there is absolutely no way the car would have sustained that much rust in such a short period of time. When I was informed that the business was sold, not once was I informed that they just didn't do oil changes.  He led me to believe that the entire business was sold and no longer in operation. At this point, I don't expect anything further from this company.  In my opinion he is a very shady businessman looking to fill his own pockets and I won't have anything positive to say about him or his business.  Regards,  [redacted]

1 am writing in response to a complaint sent by the Revdex.com on behalf of[redacted] The vehicle was purchased on January 162015, why is she sendinga complaint in October 2015, almost 10 months after she purchased the vehicle? Shestated she had a check engine light come on so...

she brought it in in the middle of a snowstorm. Half of myemployees did not show up that day to work. We explained to her itwas possibly the gas cap. I told her to drop the car back off so we could look at it afterwe plowed out and the snow stopped. She called me back once and 1 then explained toher to drop the car off and wc would look at it. She then stated she could not leave it withus. She wanted us to look at the window as well and I told her that she needed to leave itwith us so we could order the parts. She then said she would try to make arrangements toget a ride. That was the last time she tried to contact us. Air conditioning was notmentioned to us not working. However in the middle of winter how do we try the airconditioning to see if it works? She purchased a vehicle with 114,000 miles on it there isonly a New York State Inspection. There is not a lemon law warranty because of themiles being over 100,000. And a window and air conditioning are not covered anyways. This is a complete miniscule complaint and she knows it. This is a waste of your time andmine. How does anybody drive a car for 10 months and want to pick out another car.Think about that.Sincerely,Robert P. S[redacted]Owner/President
