We contracted with Pool Designs, Inc on July of During our sales meeting they told us, in no uncertain terms, that they would 'easily' be able to get the pool installed by late AugustAt the absolute latest SeptemberWe believed themWe understood that this would mean we wouldn't have access to the pool for use until the season, so we weren't terribly disappointed by the litany of delays that lead to the pool finally being put in the ground in mid-NovemberThey blame the township and the permit process, which again, we were patient and accommodating withDelays happen, after all and we weren't going to be able to use the pool until the following year anywayFast forward to concrete pour cancellations later and now they are canceling the pour until next SpringAfter happily taking 100% of our money We understand there are weather conditions but we are sick of the promises week after week, month after monthEverything they said would never be a problem has become a huge problemWe specifically asked if we should wait until spring to do the install for these very reasons and told over and over and over and over again that it wouldn't be an issueSo now we are left with a huge disaster in our backyard full of mud, piles of loose stone, no concrete, a filthy, half filled pool and an eyesore orange, plastic fence shabbily surrounding our pool for at least another monthsKids can't use the backyardDog can't use the backyardAmazingIf we were told from the outset that any of this was a possibility I would not be writing this reviewInstead we were promised the worldNothing was a problem and everything would be totally smooth sailingDespite our allowances on the delays they've now crossed a bridge too farBetter still we do not even know if any of the equipment they've put in functions since we can't turn it on until months after it was deliveredAvoid this company at all costsThey're happy to take your money and then leave you with a disaster of a backyardMy suggestion is not to give them final payment until the work is actually done, no matter what they tell you

BEWARE EVERYONE!! Do not work with this company, do not call them for help, do not ask them to do anythingPlease do not purchase a pool from themAs soon as they have your money they do not care, they do not call back, they do not come out, they do not help you with anythingI wish I never even heard of or called this company, It's been nothing but a headacheThe salesman that comes out is a complete liar and will tell you anything to get a sale, the owner never comes out to check on the pool or the men doing the workI signed a contract to install a pool June 19thThey said they'd put me on the schedule for end of JulyThey did not tell me that permits would take over and half months to get, then when the permits did finally arrive, they didn't put my pool in the ground until weeks from thatI thought I was on the schedule why did it take so long you ask, because they don't stand by anythingIt's not a pool in a day, its a pool in months, it was obviously not useable at the end of September and they have yet to come and close the pool because rain keeps getting in the wayWhat kind of ** is that? My entire backyard is dug up, huge trenches all over and they have yet to come out and fix themAll they keep saying is, "ohh no one came out last week they were supposed to" and then still don't come out the following week eitherPlease do not buy from this company, they subcontract all their work even though they say they don't and those companies don't answer either it is the worst decision you will ever make and you will spend a whole lot more money then what Pool designs say you will

They don't stand behind their products. They are very sneak within the details of the contract and are not for the consumer at all. They basically robbed me and pulled the wool over my eyes. The quality and craftsmanship of the work was horrible! The concrete started to deteriorate only after one year! Then they had the never to tell me they didn't cover the concrete after a year. This was never stated in the fine print of the contract. They also gave me the excuse that they did not have the money to repair the concrete as well. In the end we wound up getting a whole new backyard for their mistakes. BEWARE
