They don't stand behind their productsThey are very sneak within the details of the contract and are not for the consumer at allThey basically robbed me and pulled the wool over my eyesThe quality and craftsmanship of the work was horrible! The concrete started to deteriorate only after one year! Then they had the never to tell me they didn't cover the concrete after a yearThis was never stated in the fine print of the contractThey also gave me the excuse that they did not have the money to repair the concrete as wellIn the end we wound up getting a whole new backyard for their mistakes BEWARE

Review: My husband, [redacted] called Pool Designs and talked to the receptionist about pricing on a heater & replacing a line in our pool around 6/20/2013. She asked if we had a concrete pool and [redacted] said no. All he wanted was a call back from someone on how much they charge, including any kind of service call. About 1 week later my 16 year old daughter said some guy came by our house while both my husband & I were at work to look at our pool. Pool Design never set up a service call with us & we had no idea anyone from their company was coming out. We did not hear back from anyone at Pool Design after that.On July 13, 2013 we received a bill from Pool Design for $75.00 for a service call. First of all, the bill is dated 7/10/2013 and we did not receive the bill until 7/13/2013. It states in bold red lettering that a $29.99 late fee after due date will be charged and a finance charge of 1.7% will be charged per month on all accounts past due. Both my husband & I have called Pool Design's office numerous times asking why we received this bill, as we did not request a service call. Finally someone left a message on my husband's voice mail on 7/18/2013 saying that they talked to us and the service call is usually $165 and we got a break. Both my husband & I never talked directly to anyone at Pool Design to set up a service call. We just left a message with the receptionist about a call back looking into their services. We do not think we should be responsible for the $75 bill since we never spoke to anyone about setting up a service call and never set up for anyone to come out to our house.Desired Settlement: We should not have been billed and do not want to pay it. Pool Design should let us know in writing that we do not have to pay the bill they sent us.

To Whom It May Concern:

The complaint we received from the [redacted] seems to be inaccurate. We did speak with Mr. [redacted] about coming out to his home to see what size heater he would need to accommodate his pool. When Pool Designs Service Technicians arrived at Mr. [redacted] home, they saw a new heater, still in the box and assumed the [redacted] hired another pool company to do the work.

The bold red lettering on the invoice is on every invoice as a reminder, it also states that Pool Designs accepts all major credit cards and payments by phone. Mrs. [redacted] was told their invoice was not late as of yet, when she called to inquire about it.

We did receive a check from the [redacted] for $75.00. We will be mailing this check back

to them.

In conclusion, we believe we have been mistaken for another pool company.
