Review: I entered into a verbal contract with [redacted] of Pool Table Taxi on May 5 to purchase a pool table that was advertised, they were delivering it on 5/7/2015 at 2:30. I asked if it was a solid wood table and was assured it was, I stated I was not interested in the 4 cues and the balls it came with and could we upgrade the balls to [redacted] instead of cheap cues and balls, she agreed but would check with the owner [redacted]. Also, the ad said we could pick the color of felt and again I expressed concern over cheap felt, me and my husband spent hours coordinating the choosing of the color of felt, I then relayed the choice to [redacted]. I cleared out our garage and got it ready for the table and took off work so I could be home for the delivery. I got a call at 2:02 saying they would not be there at 2:30 and rescheduled me to 5/9/2015. I rearranged my schedule again and they did show up at 2:30, the table was not as advertised, the ad said solid maple wood, the table was oak and full of particle board, so I called and spoke to [redacted] who I had made all previous arrangements through. She advised me of my options and we proceeded. The men were setting up the table and I noticed more particle board on the table top portion and the felt was not what was promised, it was a low end version and not the right color. After 1.5 hours of back and forth phone calls which were nothing but a run around and. The felt was to be a Championship #31, it was not. I wasted hours on this transaction and I feel they are dishonest and not a reputable company. Their only solution was to drop the table in my garage unassembled and not felted for $200 less (new felt installed is $250). Customer service is terrible, integrity zero, reputable zero. I would never use this company and would steer anyone considering this company away from them. Their bait and switch tactics are inexcusable, people rely on the expertise of others as we cannot be experts in every field, they are going to take advantage of someone that does not know any better!Desired Settlement: A formal apology for my time they wasted. to be honest in their future ads. They have ads up now that are identical to the one I answered which means it is deceptive also!!!!!!!
