Thank you for contacting our Patient Accounts Customer Service DepartmentWe are dedicated to providing the best customer service possible to our patients and their familiesWe appreciate your patience while we researched your recent billing inquiry
We have
reveiwed the charges for date of service 10/11/and have determined that the patient presented to our Emergency Room and was held over night for observationOur records indicate that the patient did not present with an Authorization for the Verterans Administraction office or from the VA Choice ProgramOur office has contacted the VA Choice Program and they have advised that there is not an authorization for this time period in their records nor would they provide an authorization for the Emegency RoomWe billed these charges per the patient's request to Veterans Administration and to Triwest (VA Choice Program) and they denied the chargesOur billing cycle is for days if the balance is not paid in full within the days all unpaid balance will be turned over to a collection agency to collect on the remaining account balanceThis information is provided to our patient on their billing statementsIf you have any other questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to contact the Patient Accounts Customer Service Department at ###-###-#### or toll free at ###-###-####You may also contact us via email at [email protected]
