I am confident we did our job to the highest standard. The complaint at hand is Guarantee or Warranty/ Customer Service Issues. Mr. [redacted] said the instructions were not clear about the oiling of the fittings. This is clearly stated in our manuals and a separate piece of paper when you buy the system from our dealers. We have these available if you would like to see, they are also available on our website.We have all phone conversations with our technical department on record. The plant manager and I went back and listen to the (2) on record. After listening the plant manager decided it was in the best interest to send the customer a replacement base and fittings. This will solve the issue he was having.I will say our technician spoke on the phone to the highest degree of professionalism and told the customer exactly what our manuals and warranty terms state. sentences later said he bought a truck with it on there. By buying a used truck with our product on there voids any warranty for that product as the product has now switched owners. This is clearly stated in our manuals when you buy the system from our dealers. We have these available if you would Tike to see, they are also available on our website. We have all phone conversations with our technical department on record. The plant manager and I went back and listen to the (2) on 5/20/2015 and (1) on 6/2/2015. The first call on 5/20 was Mr. S[redacted] stating the system on his truck had failed, our tech with great professionalism asked for the serial number, which Mr. S[redacted] did not have. He said he would call back with it. He did call back with it but did not provide that information, he only asked how much a replacement motor assembly is if the pump is not under warranty any longer (due to different owners), our tech answered with $219.00 and that was the end of the phone call. Mr. S[redacted] then waited 13 days to call back again and ask for his pump to be warrantied (6/2/2015). The serial number provided was not registered, meaning the previous owner did not turn the warranty card in within 30 days of purchasing the system. The tech then asked where he bought the system and Mr. S[redacted] replied with, "I don't remember." Our tech then asked if he bought the truck with the AirDog already on it and Mr. S[redacted] replied, "Yes°. This then voids any warranty associated with the pump (transfer of ownership). Mr. S[redacted] said he wasn't going to pay the $219.00 because he did not need the pump as he already put our competitor's pump on the truck. I will say that our technician spoke on the phone to the highest degree of professionalism and told the customer exactly what our manuals and warranty terms state. Nothing was rude about the phone calls, and we have them on record if you would like to hear them. The pump that is not even on Mr. S[redacted]' truck anymore is no longer under warranty due to the transfer of ownership of the truck this pump is assembled on.
