One May 5th our leasing agent called again and said that she had been trying to get in touch with herThe leasing agent said that she was scheduled to moa few days prior and wanted to know if she still planned on moving inMs*** told the leasing agent that she had been staying at a hotel and that she still wanted to move-inAt that time Ms*** was told that the unit was no longer available but she was offered another unit that would be available in less than weeksMs*** told the leasing agent she could not .wait that long
8. Ms*** was told that her holding fee would have to be forfeited per the attachment signed by the applicant

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.This information is completely false. I never spoke to her on April 21st. The only time I spoke to anyone I was told that they were still waiting on information from our previous landlord and they would have to call me back. I assumed that I was denied since there was no further contact from them and when I finally called them back that is when I was informed that I missed the move in date of May something. I explained this to both the manager who this is the only time I spoke with her as well as the regional manager. On the paperwork that I have in my possession it CLEARLY states that the holding deposit will be applied towards the security deposit at move-in. I have not moved in so I want the $200.00 refunded. The fact that they tried to contact me does not state that I accepted the move in date. Also I was in a hotel for that weekend not the whole time, another fabrication of this business. This is very bad business practices and they should notify you before you give them any sort of deposit as I was told by LIndsey that we should not worry about the check as it would not be cashed until move in day, clearly this business does not practice what they tell prospective residents of the apartment complex.
