In July 2015, dropped off an heirloom cherry formal dining room table to have the the tabletop and two leaves refinished to match the table legs Paid $ Long story short, first attempt resulted in a "distressed" look, the table was dinged and scratched and the finish was blotchy and rough Second resulted in a LIGHT CHERRY finish that did not match the table legs, and two BLONDE leaves Third resulted in a tabletop and leaves with a finish that more closely matched the legsThree months had passed and we "accepted" the third try and took the table and leaves homeLittle did we know that the stain was going to wipe off onto the dust rag, placemats, and clothing At this point, having lost confidence in Poor Richard's, we incurred the additional expense of taking the table elsewhere to have it properly sealed
