My insurance company dispatched Pop-a-Lock to assist me with a flat tire After an extremely long wait, a guy in an unmarked vehicle pulls in behind me and sits in his car After a few minutes I noticed he had a hat and vest on, so I got out of my vehicle to approach him to see if he was the roadside assistance I had requested As I approached his car, he got out of his car with his black tool bag and without speaking to me or acknowledging me, he walked past me towards my car and began trying to find a tool to take my hub cap off I just stood there and watched him work He said nothing I began taking items out of my trunk so he could get the spare tire out He still struggled with my hub caps I eventually asked him if he needed the wheel lock, he "grunted" I guess that was a yes and he took the wheel lock After he did what he came to do he handed me some paperwork to sign and initial, then he got in his car and left....What lousy customer service
I drove immediately to Goodyear to have the flat tire repaired The attendant came out and inspected my vehicle and noticed the spare tire was near flat - it needed air So he checked the air pressure in all of my tires He was concerned that the nuts on my spare tire did not appear to be tight so he checked them and found them all to be DANGEROUSLY loose!! In his opinion, they were only hand tightened I explained to him the Pop-a-Lock roadside assistance had just put the spare on and that I did not observe him using any tool to tighten the nuts He only used tools to remove the hub cap and to jack the car up
I notified my insurance company of this dangerous situation this guy put me in They suggested I call Pop-a-Lock and inform them The number on the paperwork the guy gave to me was not a working number My insurance number tried to get a number off the web for their corporate office and that number did not work either
I am very concerned that this company is dispatching people who do not identify themselves to customers and do not seem to care about the well being of customers As Goodyear Tire staff noted, this is worse than bad customer service - this is DANGEROUS!! I could have had an accident if the spare fell off!!

I had a very positive experience today and wanted you to know about it. I had a flat tire last night after attending a Christmas party. I was only 4 blocks from home so I walked home. It rained off and on today(Sun) in San Francisco so I did not call for service until after 1:00pm. Service time was confirmed, and as I walking back to the car I got a call from [redacted] who was there to perform the service. I told him I was 2 blocks away. He was very understanding. Not knowing that I'm almost 70yrs old. He was very professional, and very polite when I arrived. He was genuine and sincere. As a senior I so appreciate the patience. Hats off to [redacted] for the prompt help today. Thanks.

I called at 5:30 for a tire change and I'm still sitting here at 7:30. No one showed up. I wish I could change the tire myself, because I know it's a simple fix, but I've never done it before and I didn't want to ruin anything. I was expecting a positive experience, but it's hard to have one when I've been waiting this long for a simple service.
