Pop-A-Lock of Louisville will be refunding Mrs*** $via company check on 5/12/
We have researched this issue. The locksmith did offer to go back to MrsHearn, at which time he advised her she
needed a new ignition and that we would have gladly done for her on Monday 5/4/She instead chose to call another locksmith company. The key we originally made was not the wrong key, it would never have started the vehicle if it were. GM ignitions, especially in a vehicle of this age, do go out quite frequently. This can be verified by looking at the GM website and also the recent GM recall on the ignitions

On May 9th I got locked out of my car. I called the police and they suggested I called Pop a Lock. They came a popped the lock but damaged my GMC Acadia interior and tint. I have been arguing with them to repair my truck at my dealership but they refuse. The following day I met with the manager in the parking lot and had an argument with him about the trucks repair. They say they can get a better "deal" at [redacted] in Indiana. When they realized that I would become persistent they suggested two dealership invoices. I sent them from [redacted] and [redacted]. The company believes they both were too expensive. They had sought legal counsel, so they told me. And finally they said they would repair ONLY what they damaged and it would be done at [redacted]. With my work schedule and my surgery around the time of this incident I was not permitted to meet their receptionist, [redacted] at the [redacted] facility in Indiana. Finally today January 25th we met at [redacted] at 11am. In communicating with [redacted], she made the comment that I was "demanding " at my dealership in trying to get them to make a pricey invoice. This was not the case. After the appointment I went to [redacted] and talked to [redacted] and he told me her comment was false. The invoice from [redacted] was $599.26. The invoice from [redacted] was $774.34 all considered, a small amount to fight over and a price difference of $175.08. They are "directing" me that I must have this work done at their choosing. This is illegal and does not make for a good relationship. This makes me very mad. There is more to this story, emotions and feelings but it is not proper to go into it unless you desire it. The invoice at [redacted] was over a thousand dollars. I believe they decided to not entertain it because of its cost. I have an email to Mr. [redacted] at WAV 3 NBC. I am weary arguing with this company. I just want them to repair my new at the time, 4 year old truck which I own and not lease.... to my satisfaction. Thank you for your time in considering my request for your assistance. Best Regards, Mrs. [redacted]
