meritHerein, *** *** admits that his children were kind enough to create artwork on the walls of a brand new apartmentThis is not wear and tear*** *** moved out on June 30, We forwarded the disposition on July 20, 2017, in accordance with WV Code Chapter Article 6A, *** *** made no attempts to contact our office regarding his past due balanceAs a general business practice, often past due accounts are forwarded to a collection agencyThe customer's credit will not be adversely affected for DaysAt such time and upon expiration of the days, if no payment agreement or arrangement has been made, the account will be turned into the credit bureau

We are in receipt of your correspondence, ID *** submitted by *** *** *** for the property located at *** *** *** *** ** ** *** ** *** We have reviewed the documents, and find that some of the information available to *** *** *** *** *** has been eliminated from the
detailOur website, in bold letters, clearly stated that "We Do Not Take Pets at This Property"While the rental application may not have ask specifically about pets, there is a section that ask for additional residents to reside in the apartment and "OTHER"*** *** also states, the leasing documents were not received, which is incorrectAs *** *** was the resident of the apartment all required leasing documents were emailed to her on June 6, 2016, the same day that we received her rental application (email is included in this correspondence)On June 13, 2016, days before her scheduled move in, she read the documents which included a "No Pet Agreement" and at that time emailed me concerning her petThe reply email is also included which states that the security deposit is not refundable and to notify us of her intentions*** *** indicates that *** *** found another apartment once she knew we did not take pets however, *** *** email states that she had just read the documents and realized we did not take pets, obviously there is a problem with the timeline relayed in *** ***' statement. Lastly, in reference to the confusion of the fees paid, we have included their copies of the rental application that shows in bold heading Application Fee and Security Deposit, which specifically states there are no refunds after hours of paying the security depositEach fee is clearly outlined below the heading making it evident that there are separate charges. While it is unfortunate that *** *** *** *** *** are forfeiting the security deposit we at Pope Properties believe that they were given ample opportunities to disclose the pet prior to paying the security deposit

and I reject the business response for the following reasons
As I mentioned earlier, I did not receive any disposition statement from the business, also as business wants all communications from renters through certified letter, I wonder why they did not sent a certified mail to check if the clients received the communication?
It is unacceptable that the business want their apartment to stay brand new after years of living, if that is they wanted they should have found some one who pays free rent with out staying
My kids did not create art work on the entire apartment so I am not accountable for the painting of entire apartment
I strongly believe the damage estimates by the business are not fair/legal, I think business still owes me money from the security deposit
I want a third party to do the damage estimates as the business damage estimates are not fair and legal
