Review: My washer broke and I have a warranty with [redacted]. I called them and the set up a appointment for me for the next business day which would had been a Monday. On Friday afternoon I got a message from Popes Appliance saying the couldnt make it for 3 weeks, so I called popes appliance and asked if they could come sooner and she said no and gave me a appoinment which was for 3 weeks away and told me my time slot would be between 12-5 which is crazy! I then told her that that appoinment would not work as I have a brand new baby and a toddler and teenager and I need a washer. So I told her that I was going to call best buy and have them find me a new service provider! The woman at Pope's Appliance is one of the rudest person I have came across in my 32 years of life!!! She is very nasty beware!!!!! So I called best buy and they said they would find me another service person! Well a week goes by and best Buy could not find anyone in our area to service my washer so they just replaced it. Well a couple weeks go by and I get a phone call from popes appliance saying that I have a appoinment the next day and I informed her that Best Buy already took care of it and she was so rude then told me she was sending me a $25 cancelation fee and I explainded to her that I didnt make a appoinment with her and to take it up with best buy. What else is crazy is she is the one that couldnt fullfill the appoinment because best buy made the app and she said the couldn't do it! So I contacted Best Buy and they said they would call her which they did and she was very rude to them too!!Best Buy told me they would take care of it which I think papers got lost because I just got a phone call from Popes Appliance telling me if I dont pay the $25 by friday Sept 19 which today is wed the 17 she was sending me to collections!!!Desired Settlement: I would like them not to send me to collections!!

Review: The scheduler [redacted], who refused to give her name during any calls--refuses to work with the customer's timeline and work schedule. Instead of assisting she is aggressively rude and refused to work with the customer. I have days I am not available and I tried to explain in advance to her each time I tried to schedule an appointment so that the repair guys could plan their workload they would know and therefore could plan my repair on another day--but she refused to accommodate that request and use the information to the company's advantage.To assist I gave her the information about my limitations that would allow them to make a schedule that would be more efficient for their company but [redacted] refused to work with me. She reprimanded me and said that I caused a problem with their schedule and that someone else could have had the time she scheduled me and that I needed to pick a day and time that I would be there and then she hung up on me instead of listening when I tried to tell her on every phone call that my days were limited.The repair person--Lynn, also the owner--was told about [redacted]'s attitude and aggressive behavior and he was asked to do the scheduling with me instead of allowing her to berate me and tell me off when I would call for the schedule. He did not honor my request either.The company was doing a prepaid repair that covered parts and labor and then refused to do the work and canceled the job so that the company covering the costs lost the prepaid portion of this repair which appears to be stealing and cheating a company. [redacted] has a rude attitude towards customers who have work schedules to work around or who have limited time available to sit and wait for a repair person.This company needs to be more respectful and considerate of the customers availability and allow the customer to make the appointment at their convenience not at the company's convenience.[redacted] would not tell me when the next available day and time were she only would give me one day no other option.Desired Settlement: I would like the company to refund me the funds that were prepaid by my contracted company and give me the parts they ordered. They now could potentially resell the parts to another customer and make extra money from a prepaid job and resupplied parts for the job.Also, payment for lost time for the repair. I have to wait several more weeks for another company to reevaluate and order the parts.$1000.00

Response:

Customer did not pay one dime. Our technician came out and fixed the issue and at our cost. We do not get free parts. When we order parts for customers, we order parts out of our own distributor. We ordered her parts and even paid to send them back. We didn't get paid a dime. She is sending out false information.

Review: Popes applinace was sent out by [redacted] Warranty to diagnose and fix washer that we purchased at Home Depot. I never asked them to come out to my location. When talking to the Warranty company they said they would have to send another company out because Popes Appliance did not honor there contracted price to fix our washer. Therefore they had another company come in and take care of the job. That being said Popes needs to go after the Assurant Federal Warranty company not me. I never hired them, or signed anything from them since everything was being taken care of by the warranty company. They are trying to bill me 120 dollars for a service charge and labor. This is unacceptable and not right.Desired Settlement: They need to cancel the bill that is being billed to me.
