This appointment ended up being a visit and a patient exam. We did a test and there were findings. She felt she shouldn’t have to pay for the visit. I tried to explain to her that preventive services are different than findings, but she didn’t like the answer. We had a 3 way call with her and the...
insurance company and the insurance company sided with me and told us the doctor has the right to bill that way since there was a finding in the appointment. At that point I thought all was understood and resolved. It was billed correctly.
