Unfortunately, customer is outside our year warranty period

rejecting this response because:
The entire structure of the furniture started to disintegrate within the first yearThe furniture was well over $1000. It was not and is not fir for its intended use. It is garbage. All consumers should be made aware of this so they do not make the mistake of purchasing from this company. Further, their customer service is so poor that they continuously lie, give you the run around, and don't stand by their products. You would think that they would apologize and fix or replace or refund me for this furniture. I have some other outdoor furniture pieces that are over ten years old but are made by a reputable company that doesn't make crap

Hi, We can longer replace the item as the order is outside of our (1) year warranty period and replacement was previously provided outside of the warranty period as a courtesy. Modway will no longer be replacing this item Sincerest apologies

I am rejecting this response because:
advertising that Modway uses exceptional quality when clearly the material can not last more than one season and the "courtesy" should be extended for the remainder of the faulty pieces as dollar furiture is expected to last over a year warrenty In addition the lack of response and disrespect shown by ignoring multiple messages, insinuating there is no other manager or owner to speak to, and expecting me to be thankful that the floor model table sent to be used with my furniture full of holes is a curtisy is utterly ridiculous I will post pictures of my furniture and email chains on ever website I can and continue to share my experiences with wayfair, Revdex.com, nextdoor, and any reccomodendation site moving forward This response is fitting of my other interactons with Modway, completly disregarding their furnitures quality

I am rejecting this response because: I was previously told by Modway that *** *** was one of their customers and that since they could not confirm the replacement with them they would not stand behind their product or their warranty This just appears to be a business that does not stand behind their products, and will use a cop out like "system limitations" as an excuse as to why they won't stand behind it Where there is a will to help there is a way

Hi, Modway has a limited (1) year warranty on all its products. The customer purchased this item 04/2015, this means the customer is out of warranty. We informed the customer of this when the customer initially contacted us for replacement and this request was denied. As a
COURTESY, we replaced the damaged item for the customer. (Please see attached correspondence, where we inform the customer on Monday, August 22, 10:AM that we would be replacing the table as a courtesy as the item is discontinued and the customer is out of warranty.) We can longer replace the item. In regards to refunds, Modway is a wholesaler and does not sell to the general public. The customer PURCHASED this item from Wayfair, therefore, we have no ability to refund as we have no access to purchasing information Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: that is an unsatisfactory response.  I have continued to correspond with Modway and your organization has gone so far as to claim that the furniture was a knockoff.  I have since provided email proof from the vendor that the furniture is in fact manufactured by Modway and also was able to produce the track number indicating that it was sent from Modway's warehouse.  Modway should be able to locate the furniture using the tracking number and send me a full refund for the faulty furniture.   I, as the consumer, should not be held hostage due to defects in your system.  I have gone above and beyond to provide you the information that you cannot or will not produce ie that the furniture was manufactured by Modway and a manner in which to locate the furniture in question.  Please see a photo of the email referenced earlier.  I am still hoping that we can reach a resolution that results in a full refund.

Item was purchased in 2013 - Warranty is no longer applicable. Modway only provides a (1) year Manufacturer Structural warranty and customer is beyond this. Modway is no longer obligated to replace any items on this order. Customer was informed of this information.
