Upon check out from the accommodation there was significant evidence of a petIt is a designated pet free unitA registration card was signed to that effectThe pet hair was so significant that samples of it were brought to my desk along with
the linens from the bed - both of which were full of pet hairThis was not human hairThe additional charge was processed on ***'s credit cardI sent him an email advising the reason for the charge
In the past year we have charged only five guests for thisIt does not happen often but when it does we have to deep clean the accommodation so the next guests who have booked expecting there to be no pet dander in the unit, get what they pay forIt is not something we take lightly
I am sorry that *** feels he has been unfairly treated, however, the onsite evidence spoke for itselfTwo senior roomkeepers, the Executive Housekeeper and then myself, all saw the hair

First of all I'd like to dispel of the claim that there was any significant amount of hair in my bedI am a man who shares a bed with another man and any hair that may have been found in the bed was strictly incidental and from our bodiesWhen photos were provided to support their bogus claim that a pet was in my room no photos were provided or the bed, bedroom, nor bedding
Regarding the rest of the truly inappropriate and inaccurate response received from White Point Beach, I have made it very clear that there was no pet in my roomOne of the members of my party is allergic to pet danderI've also noted that there were four separate service individuals in my room at all hours of the day and night as the cottage was in a state of disrepairI've requested that White Point Beach management further investigate by speaking with these individualsThey've not done soI have asked them to test the hair that was presented to them by burning a strand to determine if it has the distinct scent of human hairThey have not
I did not have a pet in my room, I don't have a pet, and no response beyond an apology and a refund will be an acceptable response and I am firm in thatIf I do not receive appropriate compensation I will be investigating my legal rights and my options with small claims courtBeyond having money stolen from me I feel that I have been discriminated against based on age and having these funds arbitrarily taken from me from is only perpetuating these feelings

I will not be penalized for having body hair, nor for the hair from the head of a human being left in small amounts of the wood floor of a rustic cottage in the woodsAll hair in the cottage was human hairThis is fact
It is without doubt after spending two evenings in the cottage that it was in dire need of a deep cleaning, but that will not come at my expense as I did nothing to contribute to any existing sanitation issues present in the unitPerhaps *** should have consulted with me regarding the source of the human hair before instructing her staff to complete a deep clean to rid the room of pet dander that did not existTo my knowledge, *** has yet to question any of her staff who spent time in my cottage over the two days that I was there and her behavior regarding the matter has been nothing short of juvenile and irresponsible
I would agree to a conference call with the Revdex.com and *** so long as she's committed to being being civil, controlling herself, and not hanging up on me as she did in our previous telephone interactionShould I also invite to the call my partner who's hair was cut in the room as well as the professional, licensed stylist responsible for cutting the hair?
I'm so disappointed that a resort I enjoyed so many childhood memories in has fostered such a hostile, unwelcoming environmentThey appear to have become a dishonest establishment, arbitrarily stealing money for cleaning from honest guests and I am truly appalledWhat a shame

My response to this complaint remains unchanged
The abundance of hair that was left in the unit and throughout the bedding caused considerable extra time in cleaning
All furniture and draperies had to be deep cleaned to ensure any possible pet dander was removed
This is a fact
