Do not go here for service of your Porsche
I’ve had my older Cayenne in the service department for 7 weeks now. This after a disastrous repair at the Chantilly a Porsche. I had high hopes for a better experience. The service department is run poorly by Penske - a basic routing/answering service. I’ve been told my hybrid failure is so extreme they have to contact Germany. My service provider promised daily updates. Nothing. No rental car even offered. They haven’t acknowledged they don’t have a clue how to fix it.

Good morning, although Ms [redacted] has stated some of the facts correctly, there are several omissions and mistruths Our corporate attorney has attempted to reach her attornery as she engaged one We have made every effort to satisfy her to no avail This complaint is baseless due to the fact that she is asking for lifeetime warranties that simply do not exist I have a very large archive of emails back and forth to prove we have been more than responsive and have never failed to get back with her In fact, we have initiated most of the contact I ask that this review be deleted imeediately Thank You, Dave M [redacted] General Manager Porsche of Tysons Corner

Terrible experience with Porsche of Tyson's service:
-they suggested to replace motor (for over $20K in repair costs!!!!) for minor issues that could have been easily repaired
-they replaced parts that, according to them, later may not have needed to be replaced
-kept vehicle for many months but NEVER fixed actual issue
-stated to replace moto without even performing specific tests first to verify (they only did these tests AFTER being questioned); and tests concluded that the motor never needed to be replaced; they did at least cover costs for these tests
-note: my Porsche car that was in for service has less than 45K miles, is meticulously maintained, and has excellent records history

The car was VA safety inspected as per VA law and was a new car, not a demo or a used car. *** is the first owner

Roman"">Chad M*** (our service manager) has been in contact with the client
today and all legitimate issues are being handled. We are also paying to tint the car per her
agreement with Chad and the sales rep.
Our sales rep actually went to the clients house to give them special service
which he does for many of his clients.
We value the clients business and are going to everything we can to retain them and re instill confidence
Thank you

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: The general manager is intentionally misleading the Revdex.com. At
no point did I claim the vacuum pump was removed; as clearly stated in
my complaint they replaced the oil reservoir and failed to secure it in place

I had an absolutely horrendous experience at this particular Porsche dealer! It began with their attempts to up-sale services that my vehicle did not even need. Once they found out I had a warranty they tried to back-track and tell me my vehicle didn't need the repairs. Then, they gave me a below average loaner vehicle while my Porsche Panamera was being serviced. After my bad experiences, I left a review on the Porsche of Tysons facebook page, hopeful that it would reach the management and that my experience would be better the next time however, when I went for the next scheduled service, they refused to work on my vehicle until I replaced my bad review with a good one. The general manager Aradhana Saab conducted herself as if she was working at your neighborhood Mcdonalds! I feel that this is totally unacceptable and unprofessional for a Porsche dealer to conduct business on this level. I hope this review is read by many and helps potential Porsche customers not make the same mistake I made. I am now dealing with the inconvenience of having to travel to a farther dealership to deal with Porsche representatives who can conduct business professionally!

We towed Mr.
Lincoln’s Porsche into our shop yesterday in an effort to identify his
concerns. The pictures attached as well as the tech’s...

comments below shed light
into what we repaired 2 months ago and what the new mechanical failure is.

After our
visual inspection, we’ve concluded that is best to have [redacted] come in and
review our findings, as we believe that the new failure is unrelated to what we
repaired 2 months and 1200 miles ago (we had no reason to move the vacuum pump
at that time). The location of the 2 items (one on the far right, the other on
the far left) and the missing of a bolt on the part that caused the failure, it
makes it hard to believe that we had anything to do with this incident.
Furthermore, we have no idea what damage the loss of oil may have caused to the
engine and if we start working on a repair it might imply wrongdoing on our
part and hold us liable for a very costly engine replacement, if this is
necessary…
[redacted] claims we removed the vacuum pump but we did not.  The Vacuum is on the opposite side of the engine from what we worked on.  Please see attached pictures that substantiate our case.

Review: Poor service. I took my [redacted] here to have its dead battery replaced. When my car was returned, it had two scratches that went down to the bare metal. The service department did not fix it properly (only put some touch up paint on it). Also, I sold my [redacted] to them on December 14th. At the time I sold the car, they said that they would have a check ready for me on December 16th. I called on December 16th, and they said that I must have misheard and that I would get a check within 7-10 days. I properly heard what was told to me during the sale, but I figured maybe the store employee misspoke, so I called again two weeks after the sale. They still said that they could not give me a check yet. I called again on January 4th (three whole weeks after the sale), and they said that they still could not give me a check. They sold the car on December 16th, so they already have their money. I'm not sure if they will give me my money, so I would avoid buying or selling cars at this dealership.Desired Settlement: Would like my money plus interest they've earned on my money.

Response:

Hello,

We were able to fully resolve this situation with the client. The client received his check last week. The reason for the check delay was to due to the fact that we did not have the title in house from his lender.

Thank you,

Review: I had my car top repaired in October by [redacted], who got the replacement motors from this dealership. They sold my mechanic defective parts then said we'd have to buy them again and MAYBE get a credit in a month. No one who can make a decision is available.Desired Settlement: I want them to replace the defective parts in a timely manner at no cost.

Response:

**. [redacted],

I am the Parts Manager for Porsche of Tysons Corner and know this transaction well. We originally sold parts for a convertible top to [redacted] on 09/27/2012 on invoice [redacted], and they did the original repairs for this vehicle. We received an order for another convertible top cable on 05/13/2013 from [redacted]. We received a call from them approximately 06/10/2013 stating that one of the parts (convertible top transmission) that we sold them was defective and should be covered under warranty. At that time we explained that we needed to verify what component was defective and why. I offered to pay to have it checked out and they agreed and brought the vehicle to our facility on 06/17/2013. Our technical staff inspected the convertible top and found that the cable was defective and not the transmission and that either the cable was installed incorrectly or the timing was not set properly by [redacted]s LLC. This caused the convertible top to stop working and caused further damaged to the side panels as well. With either the cable not being installed incorrectly or the timing not set properly the manufacturer (Porsche Cars North America) will not warranty any of the components. We gave an estimate to repair the items and were told not to repair it. Porsche of Tysons Corner paid for the checkout time and the car was picked up.
