Port Angeles Firewood

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: First the business states they have no record of delivering firewood to us Unfortunately I paid him in cash so I do not have a cancelled check to refute his statement He clearly stated on the phone that he would include one cord of seasoned wood in the 3-cord order When he arrived he clearly stated that his employees had mixed it with the unseasoned He delivered the wood with his pickup and trailer explaining that his truck was broken down He further explained that he had been out of town and that he had only recently returned and was working as hard as he could to catch up With respect to the scrap wood I went to the stacked wood and counted pieces that were short and ragged and I assure you that there is more short ragged wood among the stacks We did not ask for nor did we expect to get cords of dry wood That's why we ordered early It is not our intent to get anything free nor is it our intent to do business with Port Angeles Firewood again Sincerely, [redacted]

First and foremost I can Not find any record of delivering any firewood to this person.. If I did I'm sorry I can not find her information.. . Second: we advertise our 3 cord special for only 499.00 (heavy) as we ask and encourage everyone to buy earlier every year so their wood will be dry in the...

fall .. Absolutely No where do we advertise 3 cords of Dry wood for 499.00!!! 3rd: we deliver thousands of cords every year , we do not short our customers as this is why we are always extremely busy 7 days a week year around and i/we take pride in our business and do our very best.. And we will continue to do our very best . Also pertaining to this person's ridiculous statements we shorted her as to we supposedly gave her short pieces like scrap.. because they said they were not all 16"??? We cut our firewood 16"(as we state to everyone we cut 14"-16") Also note we do have a pile of scrap pieces we do sell to our customers  at only 199.00 per trailer load... so we do not put scraps in our regular firewood orders(yes it is possible for a piece to fall in once in awhile). We sell by cubic feet so everyone will receive the same amount every time +/- 5% as no one can stack the cords exactly the same every time (I have tried this hundreds of times). In my opinion this person apparently wanted all dry wood and did not get all dry?? So this person trying to get free wood... I do not play games here and will not tolerate any extortion tactics.. She also stated I was out of the country and left business to my employees (I do Not have any employees-Never have!!!) She also stated my truck was broke down?? How could I have delivered wood if my truck was broken down? This really sounds like she may be all confused with someone else as she stated I and my family delivered her wood -then says I was out of the country,  etc. ???
