I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I could not view the attachment however Portkick is making whether my credit card company has refunded the disputed charge the topic here. The real issue is the charge itself, let's stay on track. They did nothing to provide the service that I booked and did nothing but waste valuable time. I was under time constraints and needed the shipment done as soon as possible which I made clear to their agent. The original request was made on a Saturday and the agent assured me that the pick up would be done that weekend, on Monday at the latest. No pick up and no call, I had to contact them on Monday to find out that they still did not have a driver booked for the job. THEY offered to Double Post the ad (what they accuse me of doing) for an additional $which would guarantee me a pick up. I accepted but when I called to authorize this charge I was told that the quote was incorrect and they then attempted to charge me $instead of the agreed $617. I declined this increase I subsequently cancelled the booking with Portkick as they apparently could not provide the service that they had promised and I was running out of time and requested that the booking be taken off the dispatch site which was done. Shortly after cancelling I received an email and charge for the disputed $100. I called and requested that the The charge be taken off my card and was told by the agent that the request would be processed. The charge was not taken off and when I again called a rude agent told me that it was not going to be removed and if I didn't like it to file a complaint which is why I have filed one here. The company who I eventually booked with was the one who informed me that I had to have the listing removed by Portkick before they could book my shipment. I asked them if it was listed as double booked and they related that Portkick was the only listing that had to be removed. I was also told that if it had been listed prior to Portkick accepting the booking, the booking would have been seen by them and become an issue. For the record, the charge HAS been removed from my credit card billing but by procedure is under review. I have provided my credit card company with all documentation to support my claim. Portkick has been a nightmare to deal with in every respect and continues to be even after the cancellation

[Your Answer Here]As with my entire experience with Portkick, they have no clue what's going on. My credit card WAS credited back their charge by my bank despite Portkick's claim that they sided with their company's charge. As I stated earlier, their representative is the one who offered the double booking as a way to increase my chances of booking my shipment. I provided the Revdex.com with a text message documenting this. From the beginning I was lied to, strung along and had my time wasted. I initiated this complaint because one of the phone representatives told me "if you don't like it, go ahead and file a complaint". Their representatives are clueless and of no help. Despite their offer of credit, I would NEVER use their service again!

Thank you *** for the important feedbackWe deeply appreciate all of your concerns and commentsThe fee which was collected by Port Kick was agreed upon by customer and company for the use of our services, resources, and time spent in order to secure a carrier for the shipment, even though our
carrier was not the carrier to haul your load because you contracted another company to find you a driver while in contract with Port KickWe call this a "double brokered" load and the fee is called a "double broker" fee. Our agreement with all customers clearly requests exclusivity due to the amount of cost and energy required to execute our servicesThis is also why your credit card provider has sided with us in the chargeback disputeThese situations are very rare (less than 1% of our customers have any payment complaints), but we still understand how frustrating this may be for youTherefore, we are willing to offer you a credit for a future shipment in the amount of the fee charged by Port KickThis shipping credit has no expiration time frame. Thank you for your consideration in the first placeWe hope you take the opportunity to use the credit offered to you. Sincerely,Port Kick Support

Again - we are extending a $offer to the shipper in the form of creditThere is no expiration to this offer.? ? Thanks,Port Kick Support?

Hello, Unfortunately the customer's claim is not 100% accurate - see our attachment for evidence. We did in fact receive a refund from the bank, but further chargeback attempts have been made. We will continue to try our best to resolve this matter with the shipper.  Again - we are extending a $100 offer to the shipper in the form of credit. There is no expiration to this offer.  Thanks,Port Kick Support
