The high star reviews on this company read as advertisementsThe lower ones reveal incompetence and moreAfter having dealt with them, I am giving them a very low rating as I also found them to be incompetentRead on and you can judge for yourself My vehicle had issues with a scraping sound from the left wheel and swerving towards the leftThe problem was the left wheel bearingI recently moved to Port Moody and did not think I should drive my vehicle on the highway to take it to my mechanicI took it to Port Moody Auto & Air Repair shopThey fixed the wheel bearing and the problem of swerving and scraping noise from the left wheel was goneThe issue I had was that there was now a new and different sound soon after I got my vehicle back that was not there before I took it back to themThe next day they told me that the sound was due to my left CV axleThey changed both the left and right CV axles at an additional cost of almost $When I got my car back it soon made the same noiseI took it back to them In an attempt to try to keep this story short, they told me that it was the CV axle, then the power steering belt, then the brakes, then the strutsI became suspicious and did not do any more work with themInstead I took the vehicle to my own mechanicWe got the car up on the hoist and almost immediately discovered the problemThe right wheel dust shield was touching the wheelAll it took was to push the shield back away from the wheel with a screwdriverKeep in mind that this noise was not present when I originally took it in to Port Moody Auto & Air Repair shopMy mechanic noted that it was none of the issues mentioned above They repaired my wheel bearing and to be fair I do not have proof that there was no problem with the CV axle because they now replaced it and I no longer have the original partsAfter my contact with them however, I question whether my CV axles needed replacingYou can judge for yourself

First visit and I found them to be honest, up front and attentive to my questions and needsService was quick and reliable, they fixed my A/C and dint try to upsell (which can often be an issue as a woman seeking automotive services)In saying that, being a woman, I value a place I can trustI will definitely use them again in future and recommend
