Portable Cedar Cabins

This statement is in response to complaint made by [redacted] to Dave B [redacted] on Warrenty issueCase Id [redacted] All cedar cabins come with (1) year workmanship warrenty Ms [redacted] brought to my attention she had cedar siding that had cracked, On 8-12-I offered to bring the cabin back and address all issuesMs [redacted] told me she would rather replace the cedar with hardiboard, On 8-12-I offered to pay Ms [redacted] $2,to put towards her new siding or she could use it for anything elseI stated to Ms [redacted] by having another contractor replace the cedar my warrenty would be void, as I can not guarantee another contractors workmanshipOn 8-12-I also offered to refund the cabin in fullThis matter could have been resolved with any one of the offers I gave, all offers were given in Ms [redacted] favorAll offers were declinedI would also like to addrress Ms [redacted] statement made that she did not receive propane tanks at time of delivery, but what she failed to say is that she had not purchased any propane tanksThat being said does not change the fact that I full heartily tried to do the right thing regarding Ms [redacted] on 8-12-but it is now 9-28-and I am still dealing with this matterThe fact remains that we have been building cedar cabins for many yearsEach and Every customer Is very important to usAll our cabins are custom made, each cabin is built to our customers requestsWe pay special attention to every detailWe take pride in our name, Our workmanship and the Quality of All our customers homesRegards, Dave B [redacted] ***SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REDACTED BY Revdex.com***

In response to David B*** reply I would like to make the observation that he never addressed the numerous other issues that I listed that are needing attention, in addition to my bad sidingI sent him two separate estimates from two separate general contractors with their bid for the siding jobI decided not to use cedar because frankly this experience has me jaded regarding cedarThe product I am putting on my house is of a comparable price and I am paying for the painting of it out of my own pocketDavid B***’ offer of $does not cover the cost of replacement and he is unwilling to address the other issues I am having with my house
My choice not to take him up on his three offers have valid reasons:
1. 1. I actually LIVE in my home, I have nowhere else to liveHis offer to take my home and replace the siding at his site is not feasible for me, and based on the quality of the existing siding and the other issues I have shared, I do not trust him to do a good job the second time around
2. His offer of a complete refund and repossession of my home is not ever what I was asking him for, I simply asked him to honor his warranty and he refusedHis offers were unreasonable and extreme for my situation
3. The offer of $doesn’t even begin to cover all the issues I am having with my houseTo void the warranty on the entire house when I offered to provide a written statement saying I released him from all siding related issues in the future, is again just his way of getting himself out of having to pay for the mistakes he has made on my home
I do not think my request for compensation for all the issues I have listed and one other that I neglected to include, the sealing of my undercarriage which is exposed untreated wood, is unreasonableHowever, David B*** is still unwilling to honor his warranty and fix everything he is obligated to under warranty
Therefore, I have requested compensation so I can address the issues myself and secure my homeAs it stands right now I am paying out of pocket to have my siding replaced before the inclement weather sets in to prevent any rot from occurringI chose the lower bid contractor and have attached the file

I stated to Ms [redacted] by having another contractor replace the cedar my warrenty would be void, as I can not guarantee another contractors workmanship. On 8-12-2015 I also offered to refund the cabin in full. This matter could have been resolved with any one of the 3 offers I gave, all offers were given in Ms [redacted] favor. All offers were declined.
