I HAVE SPOKEN TO EVAN YESTERDAY AND HAVE SETTLED THE PROBLEM (NOTE) IN THE YEARS THAT I HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS WE NEVER ASK A CUSTOMER TO SIGN A REPAIR ORDER, THEY TRUST US TO DO WHAT IS NEEDED,AND IF THE BILL IS GOING TO BE OUT OF LINE WE ALWAYS CALL TO GIVE THE CUSTOMER THE OPTION TO NOT REPAIRTHIS UNIT CAME IN NOT RUNNING WITH AN ELECTRIC STARTER NOT WORKING, THIS WAS A GOOD TORO SNOW BLOWER AND SOLD FOR NEWWE WERE ABLE TO REPAIR THE BLOWER AND FIND PARTS FOR THE ELECTRIC STARTER, WHICH IS NOW NLA THE BILL WAS AROUND 200$ HALF THE PRICE OF A NEW ONE THIS MAN WANTS EVERYTHING FOR NOTHING PD WE SETTLED ON 100$ I HOPE HE DOESN’T STOP PAYMENT ON HIS CREDIT CARD JIM [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me However, I would expect an owner of a business that has been in business for 50+ years to act with a little more tact than stated in his replyWe did not settle on $nor did I expect anything for free, I offered to meet him in the middle for $as a reflection of good business conductAlso I paid for said repairs with a debit card and funds were immediately transferredI have also reached out to the Department of Agriculture-consumer protection to advise based on his comments and have also contacted Toro to advise them of the conduct of their dealerships
