Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/08/24) */ Contact Name and Title: [redacted] Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX ext Contact Email: [redacted] @portervillechrysler.com Ms [redacted] purchased a used PT Cruiser from us on July 26, 2014.She expressed her dissatisfaction with the vehicle so our General Manager, [redacted] accommodated her demands and suggested to her that we cannot undo the transaction since the Finance company already fund the dealMr [redacted] suggested that the only way that we can help them is to replace it with another vehicle (purchased it) and then trade in the first car that she bought It was clearly and properly laid out on the Retail Sales contract as well as our Finance Manager explaining all transactions regarding the said vehicleIn August Miss [redacted] purchased the Hyumdai Elantra and traded in the PT Cruiser , and so we did wrote another contract for Ms [redacted] for this transactionWe have not heard from the customer until recently on which she demanded to speak to a manager and Mister [redacted] talked to her We expect our customers to read and understand the sales contract before letting them sign it and also customers should also do a due diligence on their part before signing and getting into a contractWe wished that there was anything more that we can do but it was already a year since we heard that Ms [redacted] is not happy again with the second transaction We at Porterville CJDR strive to keep our customers happy but we also expect that they would take responsibility in whatever agreement that they are going to sign and agreed upon Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2015/08/25) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The second contract we signed was NOT what [redacted] and I shook hands and agreed uponThe contract I signed was rejected by my Husband and I and a new one was supposedly being drawn up reflecting the new agreementI did not realize I was brought the un revised contract to signThe new contract was only supossed to have the registration and transfer fees to the PT Cruiser NOT $Of the purchase priceWe are now paying for a PT Cruiser we do not ownNOT good customer service in a small townI would expect this behavior from a fly by night dealership but not from a National CompanyRefund $and you will solve the problemI sincerely hope they did not pass that PT cruiser on to another unsuspecting customer

[redacted] REFERENCE: COMPLAINT BY MR. [redacted] Gentlemen: We received your letter dated Dec. 8, 2017 regarding a complaint filed by Mr. [redacted] *** to our Dealership. Below is our response: I. Mr. [redacted] did not purchase a vehicle from... us. It was Ms. [redacted] who is apparently now Mre. [redacted] ***, who purchased a vehicle from us in November of 2015. AB an option, we offer Extended Warranty to our customer (provided by a third party), and Ms [redacted] purchased the Extended Warranty for her vehicle during that time 2. It is correct that our customers who opt to avail of the Extended Warranty together with their vehicle purchase may cancel the warranty at any time, provided they come in and fill out cancellation paperwork. If their auto loan is still outstanding at the time of cancellation, any refundable portion of the warranty will be payable to the Bank/Financing company who carried their loan. lithe loan is fully satisfied at the time of cancellation, any refundable amount will be paid to the customer, after we process the cancellation with, the company who provided the Extended Warranty. 3. Mrs. [redacted] - [redacted] never came to process the warranty cancellation, until last Dec. 6, 2017 after she was advised by us to come to our office and sign the cancellation documents in reply to Mr. [redacted] negative posts to our company's [redacted] page. On the same day, we handed Ms. [redacted] a check refund for the extended warranty payable to her financing company. As additional information, Mr. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] came to our dealership sometime in August of 2017 wanting to purchase a new vehicle and trade in the one Ms. [redacted] purchased in 2015. Despite our efforts, we couldn't secure a financing company to carry a loan for them so we could not accommodate them. This was probably the source of dissatisfaction on their part and the cause of their unfair and false accusations on our dealership. We maintain that Mr. [redacted] himself has no grounds on initiating a complaint against us as we have had no legal dealings with him. We hope you find our response complete and satisfactory. We take our reputation seriously and we don't appreciate being maligned without any basis. Rest assured we value our customers very highly and we go out of our ways to satisfy therm Very truly yours,

NOT good customer service in a small town. I would expect this behavior from a fly by night dealership but not from a National Company. Refund $4000. and you will solve the problem. I sincerely hope they did not pass that PT cruiser on to another unsuspecting customer.
