On July 2nd, I received an emergency call from Mr*** regarding a broken water mainHe informed me that his tenant had hit the water main with her car and that he had already shut the water offI told
him I would be there within the hourUpon arrival MsRodriguez was thereI observed the 1" copper supply line leaking around the teeI told MsRodriguez that the minimum charge was to be $and she signed the authorization to do the work for this amount before proceeding (please see attached invoice exhibit "A")I then began the repair on the broken water supply lineFirst I had to clean the area and cut out the bad section of pipeI replaced a 3/4" X 1" X 3/4" copper tee with a 3/4" copper slip coupling, a 1" copper slip coupling and 1" X 3/4" copper pipeI did not have the 3/4" X 1" tee in my service truck so I had to go to the yard and pick one up, when I returned Mr*** was at the location but he never approached me or conversed with meAll pieces had to be prepped, completely dried out, cleaned and then soldered (please see attached photo of work completed marked exhibit "B")In the attached photo you can observe the condition of the pipe in the background that was not damaged, note the corrosion, the concrete and other debris that had to be cleaned as the broken pipe was in the same conditionDue to the techinchality of sweating copper tubing and the prep work, the actual job from start to finish took approximately hours, not including drive time to retrieve the partOnce all work was completed I then turned the water on and checked my work for leaks, there were noneI returned to MsRodriguez's apartment to collect payment and get the final signatureMsRodriguez paid me with checks and signed the box marked acceptance of work performed ( see attached invoice and area marked exhibit "C")The signature of acceptance is agreeing that all work is completed in a satisfactory manner and that the customer is agreeing to pay the total amount on the invoice
On July 14th, I received a letter from Mr*** (please see attached letter marked exhibit "D"), this was my first knowledge of any complaintUpon receipt of the letter I immediately called Mr*** July 14th, at 2:35pm, there was no answer and I left a messageAs you can see the letter was in very poor taste, Mr*** was very untruthful and also defied my characterWith that being said, I still reached out to resolve this issueOn July 15th, at 7:52am I still had not heard from himI then attempted to reach Mr*** once again, still no answer so I left another messageAt 8:50am that morning I received a call back from himHe stated that he was not there and he did not have the conversation with me but MsRodriguez stated that I gave her a quote of $and he believes herHis complaint was that the price was too much and the price was quoted $I informed him that this was not true and MsRodriguez was told of the minimum charge of $and that we had her signature to authorize the work in that amountI then offered to return Mr*** the $to show good faith, he refused the refund and threatened me by saying he was going to ruin my company and cause me problemsHe also stated that he was going to inform everyone that I was a liar and a thief and do not call Quik Plumbing & ConstructionHe then said this conversation is over and hung up the phoneMr*** also stated these things in his letter
All work was completed in a timely manner, the workmanship is very proffessional and the total price for the work that was done was more than fairIf you have any further questions please feel free to contact me at any time

I can only imagine how many of his customers this man has ripped off.To respond with all the lies and twist everything I said into lies,wow this is amazing
First of all Mrs*** has a eye witness that stayed with Mrs*** the entire time and will be adding her story
What I don't understand Is if Mr *** offered to returned the that I originally requested, then why would I refuse it.With that sentence alone it proves everything in his response is fabricated lies.I'm a local Business man here in Porterville and have no desire or the time to do anything to bring down another business.I believe if a business is practicing poor customer service, then they will reap what they sew.If Mr.*** is sincere about returning the he took from my tenant then this complaint is over.But this means you really have to offer to me this time
I just want to say one more thing.The eye witness is Mrs *** brother a fireman for the Porterville Fire Dept and will testify to every thing that I said in my original complaint was 100% true
