I am rejecting this response because: The business development manager was going to call me back the week of Feb 20th to discuss next steps, but I did not hear from him on 2/24/at 1:pm pacific time, I called back and left him a message to discuss next steps as to him coming out to fix it personally and asked him to call me back I never heard back from him I had my friend take a look at it, and he got it working

The nest thermostat is no different than any other thermostat that we install, our technician did read the installation instructions during install which is typical for any technician that deals with several thermostats manufacturesI cannot attest to the conversation or the statement made “that he
has never worked on a nest thermostat before.” When our tech left the site after installing a nest thermostat that was supplied by the owner of the residence the thermostat was working properlyNot any fault of Portland Mechanicals for a thermostat that has failed that we did not purchaseWe did however go back and reinstall the old stat that worked fine and continued to work fine till the buildings heating system had an issue and blown a fuseI did contact *** and offer to come out and fix the issue personally free of charge, of which at that time she refused, and then reluctantly said “she would think about it and let me know”I had also discounted her bill to reflect only the first charge for the original installThis was the last conversation that we have had with her, and have received no other correspondence until this complaintIt is Portland Mechanicals mission to leave our customers satisfied and do everything within reason to make this happen Edward *M*** Business Development Manager (503) 656-wk
