Management at Portofino Cove Apartments has been little no none since our stove cracked while cooking on Sunday night March 22nd, 2020. Upon that happening, we called the office the next day on March 23rd, 2020 explaining what happened the night before. They sent a maintenance worker over he took a picture and left saying that someone would get back to us. I waited over a week with no phone call or email and decided to call myself on April 2nd, 2020 asking about it. I was told by the person who answered the phone that both the property manager and the head maintenance guy were on a call. So I asked for someone to get back to me as well as if it was safe for us to be using the stove at all which the worker stated that from her perception of the photo that we do not need to use the stove at all. I do not get a call back until April 2nd, 2020 at 4:00 pm which the property manager stated that in order for her to get us a stove tomorrow it was going to be $600 mind you the stove was not new when we moved in. She ended up calling the cops on us saying "we are going to beat her ***" and that they were going to replace our stove the next day which would have been April 3rd, 2020. No one ever got back to us no emails no phone calls. So I decide to call again on April 22nd, 2020 at 11:13 am telling the worker that answered the phone "that I would appreciate if you could have the property manager call me back today." The worker stated she would pass the message on. I never recived a call or email about this matter. On top of all of this they have yet to answer my service request about the mold in the master bathroom shower, oulets in apartment not working, and about our back porch getting complety wet and everything getting destoyed because of the sprinklers. Weve tried serveral times to get this situation resolved but management has not been working with us. Ive also let them know on multiple accounts that I'm an Expecting Mother

Desired Outcome

Refund Not having the amenities we were given in our lease just like everyone else in the apartment complex has been receiving for the last month and a week through this pandemic and me being pregnant. We would like to get out of our lease and the charges for the stove to drop. I do not want this to be an ongoing problem for the rest of our lease time. I do not want to continue being stressed out and taken advantage of.

Dear Resident,

We are in receipt of your complaint and we want to resolve the alleged items listed on the complaint. However, given the recent behavior you have demonstrated to our staff's safety, having 2 unauthorized aggressive dogs in your unit and refusing to allow our maintenance staff to enter for repairs becomes challenging for us to resolve your matters.
Please note, we received a service request of your stove on 4/2/20 approximately 3:22pm, the Business Manager contacted you at approximately 4:00 pm regarding the report of the broken stove. When management informed you would be responsible for the cost of replacement. You became aggressive, including making threats against management. At approximately 4:16 pm police were dispatched to the office being as you were outside the front door of the leasing office beating on the door using foul language and demanding to gain access. Feeling threatened by your behavior management called FMPD to assist with defusing the situation. On 4/3/20, you submitted several work orders and apologized for your behavior. Our maintenance staff attempted to reach you by phone and email with no response.
Although, we understand when people are told something is their responsibility they react in an unfavorable manner. I am thankful for the staff who deal with this and remain professional in the face of harsh abuse. It's not easy to up hold and hold people accountable, but we will continue to do so, being as this is what is expected and it's the way we strive to do business.
We will have the Business Manager reach you today to coordinate a time to enter with our maintenance team to analysis and resolve your maintenance request.
