Purchased a photo package on 12/23/2019 that included a CD and a photo canvas. The CD is blank and we did not receive our canvas or notice of closure
Took our children to have photos made on 12/23/2019 and the package we purchased had a photo CD with the selected photo(s) for future printing, as well as a photo canvas of the selected photo. We were told they were out of canvases due to demand but that we would get it in January and have not received any notice either of our product being in store or that the company was closing. Then when I put the CD in my computer to save the photo(s) for future printing we found out that the CD is completely blank and our pictures are not on there at all. Now we have no hopes of even being able to get a canvas elsewhere or any future prints because we do not have digital copy of the pictures we paid for.

Desired Outcome

I just want the digital copy of my pictures that we paid for so I can print out more copies as we gave family the photo prints we had since we were getting the canvas.

Horrible pictures, choose bad backgrounds, bad customer service, had to wait 45 minutes just to see the pictures that were taken.
Went to your location today for the first and LAST time. So disorganized, rushed thru taking our pics then we had to wait about 45 minutes before we could even see the pictures and most of them were horrible! The photographer choose a white background when my children were wearing white shirts (I was told when I talked to someone over the phone that there were lots of backgrounds to choose from but when we got there, I was told they had Christmas backgrounds only and fall one that was all orange - which didn't work with out color selections for our outifits)! We all looked washed out. Not good at all. When I didn't pick the most expensive package, you could see a change in the photographer's attitude about it all. When we got down to a 6 pose package, I was told that there were no smaller packages but now I see you have a 1 pose package which would have been perfect for us since our pictures were so bad. Very disappointed and I feel that I was completely ripped off and lied to. Will not be going back. Wasted $160!

I called your customer service to talk about my complaint, they offered a reshoot but how does that resolve my issues? Was told it would be the same background - that is half my problem is the white background (didn't want them all to be Christmas pictures). I asked the customer service rep, how does it help, for me to get everyone back to the studio, get pictures again with the same background, have to wait another 45 minutes just to VIEW the pictures that were taken and go thru the ordering process? She said we would bring in the pictures we do have, exchange them for poses we like better - the whole thing seems like a hassle to fix a mistake (of poor quality pictures) on your part. She didn't say we wouldn't have the 45 minute wait just to view our pictures and we would have the same background so what would change here? Seems like we would just repeat what happened this past Saturday - no thank you. I completely waster $160! I will not be going back.

Desired Outcome

I would like at least a partial refund from the company since most of the pictures were unusable and we had to wait 45 minutes to even view our pictures and we were completely mislead about the background choices. Was told that a 6 pose package was the smallest package option while I was there but have since found out, that is not true. From the confirmation call to when we looked at the pictures, I was lied to. Very frustrated. Would like at least a partial refund. You claim satisfaction guaranteed but that is not the case.

The Credit Voucher can be used for in-store credit towards your next purchase, or you can mail it to the address on the voucher and receive a check in the mail. If you return all of your products to the studio you will receive a full refund; if you return only part of products to the studio you will receive a prorated refund based on the amount of products you returned.In conclusion, please accept our apologies for your negative experience, and we sincerely hope that you will return to Portrait Innovations again in the future. I will accept the 20% refund of $35 (I do NOT want a gift certificate for a future session). How do I receive the 20%, will that be mailed to me? Wasn't clear on that.

We apologize that the incorrect amount of a refund check was provided to the consumer. We will have an additional $10 in a refund check, as well as a $50 gift certificate sent to the customer that does not expire in hopes the consumer will give us another chance in the future. We are currently working on getting new backgrounds so this issue will not take place in the future. We apologize for all the trouble.

I accept their resolution for a $10 check to be mailed to me. Sending the gift certificate is unnecessary, as I don't plan on returning. Thanks.
