When I first reached out to Jennifer Lee, she responded to me almost instantly, she asked for my security deposit and I paid her the same day. Due to the Social Distancing order, she had to cancel my appointment and asked me to wait until 4/30/2020 and she would reschedule. I advised her that I cannot wait until 4/30 because my timeline will not be met. Due to the circumstances I asked her if she would be willing to refund me my deposit seeing as she can no longer meet my deadline. Ever since I asked her for a refund, she has not responded. I have sent her emails on 3/31/20, 4/7/2020, 4/10/2020 and on 4/14/2020. She is ignoring all of my emails. I feel cheated, she accepted money from me right away and is now ignoring me. I even advised her that under normal circumstances I would not be asking for a refund, but the fact that she will not even respond to me is very upsetting.
Response taken by phone: I did not receive an email from the customer until 4/14 and I have asked him to resend the previous emails he claims to sent. As I explained to him by email, the contract states that the deposit is not refundable. This is due to the costs I incur arranging supplies for the photo shoot. I also told him that I was willing to reschedule to uphold my end of the contract.
