On January 26th, 2020 I received a hair braiding service from Iesha J. Even though I have received braiding services before, I had not used her business before and had not experienced this style. While I am getting my hair done I asked Ms. J how to care for the style, she told me only to tie it up at night, so I obliged. 1.5 weeks later which is today 02/05/2020 my hair is extremely matted and tangled upon following her instruction. I then decided to contact her and ask why this was happening, and she told me she said to use a mousse and foam to detangle which was never mentioned during the date of service as she claims. I know Miss J does not have a business license for her braiding services, and does not claim this business in her taxes. I explained to her that I would like a refund for what has happened to me, she refused and claimed it was in her policy that she does not give them out. Upon reading her policies it says nothing of the sort. After explaining my dissatisfaction she proceeded to blame me for the issue and then blocked me from all contact. I feel this is my only option left to get my money back as it was $225, I even offered half of a refund. and it is also not a legitimate business.
