Top class crooks. High pitch convincing sales talk. Disconnect their phones & cannot be reached. Website is useless.

Snake oil peddlers for the 21st century. Preys on middle and low income families leaving them thousands of dollars in debt.

Position Gurus offered to build a website that I would use to sell products for a profit. They called it a money sucking website.
The slick talking account managers over hyped the business from the get go. They charged me $3300 to build the website. This actually about double what they normally charge folks. I believe this was because my credit rating at the time was very high. They provided a list of 7 drop shippers fro me to use to select products from. I could only use two of them, because the others either weren't in business any longer or had requirements I couldn't deal with like having to have been in business for a year or had fees involved that I coud not afford. Of the two drop shippers I selected Alieexpress and Novatech I selected 100 products to be put on my website. One of the drop shippers had shipping charges that were way too high, shipping from
china and Russia. The other had wholesale prices that were higher than retail prices from other businesses. What I c ame to realize was that I wioukd be in direct competition with the wholesalers I was purchasing product from, since they were also selling to the general public. The same slick talking individuals would then tell me that my website would need to be highly visible and that I needed to join a google program which woud boost my visibiulity. They said normally this program would cost $25000 but they offered me a contract for only $5000 like a scholarshiop or samething. Then they introduced me to yet another company that would further boost my visibility on the internet by setting me up with several differnt applications which were supposed to get my website seen by a larger portion of the internet. I believe Position Gurus preys on folks with no business experience. I was led to believe I would be very profitable. After several months of trying all they said I gave up. I want my investment with Position Gurus returned Their whole program is a scam that needs to be exposed.

We have reviewed Mr.’s complaint and find that its without merit. We began working with Mr. in July 2018. Mr. purchased a Dropship Website, QR Code and Directory Submissions which were all completed and provided to him within 15 working days. We do not refer to our websites as “money sucking websites” so we believe that Mr. may have confused our company with another with which he was working. The dollar amount that Mr. is claiming to have been charged for his website includes the two other products as well as numerous customer service hours, customization and personal attention to the project. His claim that we charged him double what we normally charge is unfounded. The drop shippers we provided were meant for him to choose from, which he did, so its unclear what his complaint regarding that is. No other agreements or contracts were made between our company and Mr.. Additionally, at no time do we or have we ever made any promises or even suggestions as to expected income or the profitability of our clients. The work for which he was charged was completed as agreed upon and at the time of delivery Mr. stated satisfaction. It is clear to us that Mr. was working with other companies and we suspect that he presumes we are affiliated with them, which is incorrect. Again, all work as agreed upon was completed and delivered and to our knowledge our client was completely satisfied with our products and services. We hope this resolves Mr.’s complaint.

I foolishly fell for a scam from Position Guru. I am 62 years old and foolishly signed a contract for services. I am requesting a refund of $5000 today which is within the 3 day period to cancel by law which is in my contract with Position Guru. After I foolishly signed the contract I researched the company, which I should have done first, but unfortunately did not. According to Revdex.com there have been multiple complaints about this company which includes getting a refund. Please help with this my refund issue. I am living on a pension of $1500 per month.

We had already fully refunded Ms. on 6/17/19 prior to receiving the Revdex.com complaint.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: I talked to them the same day I filed the complaint and they did not state they would refund my money. In fact, after contacting Discover, they kept trying to charge my card and according to Discover it was rejected several times. I verified current charges on my credit card and that's when I was told by Discover they tried to charge my card and it was rejected. I am satisfied that I received a refund but dispute the dates provided by the company and their trying to charge my card after the fact is dishonest. Since I am satisfied with the results please close out my complaint as resolved. Thank you for assisting me with this matter.

Sincerely

I have already submitted a previous claim against Position Gurus, Case ID #***. There was a supposed resolution. I was told to contact you back if they did not follow through with their end of the agreement in refunding me my $2,000. I work 8-5pm & am unable to take calls. No msgs have been left on my voicemail and the money has failed to be credited back to my account yet as well. When the original agreement was made, they told me that as soon as they received the Hold Harmless back in their office, the secretary was ready to hit the button for the refund. After going through your office, realizing that the only way that I was going to see my credit, was to return the Hold Harmless Letter, ASAP and as much as I disagreed with its wording, because it was completely false, against my better judgement, I immediately signed and mailed it back to them, and have yet to have my money returned! I was told if they did not comply to contact you back! I have attempted to call and leave msgs for Lance, the person in billing that I was originally dealing with, but again, I get "Leave a msg to a voicemail box #". I leave a msg, but no one returns my calls.

We mailed Ms. a refund check on October 29th 2018 in the agreed upon amount. Ms. did not notify us that she has not received the check until after she contacted the Revdex.com. We immediately reached out to Ms. and mailed a replacement check. The replacement check was sent via USPS tracking number *** to verify delivery. At this time the matter is resolved and we have fulfilled our obligations and agreements.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. After many attempts, again regarding my refund with no response, I then contacted the Revdex.com again as I was told to if they did not follow through with the resolution as they had said they would. Kim finally responded, claiming that she received another complaint from the Revdex.com and claimed that a check had been sent offering a check number and a date, but no other proof, and obviously no check had been received. It wasn't until then that they were forced to send a check via UPS. Until the check actually clears my account, I don't trust this company and would prefer to keep the matter open as they are not the most honest people I have ever met in my entire life! I do appreciate your help in righting this wrong. And would warn anyone wanting to do business with them to beware!!!!

Sincerely

I joined Position Gurus, a company which helps you set up your own online website store. I was guaranteed that with a small investment of $4000, I could have an online store up and running and showing some kind of an income within 3-4 wks. After designing the logo, I received a call from someone from a different dept. Nathan started talking about investing another $10,000 for advertising. when I seemed surprised, he gave the phone back to Pete, my Acct Mgr. He in turn proceeded to belittle and berate me, telling me that if I wanted to start a business, I should expect start up investments for advertising! I told him that I was not prepared to invest anymore money and that my husband was looking to retire and we were looking to buy a new house and I just couldn't do anything at this time. HE WAS BELLIGERENT!!! I told anyone who would listen, what he did to me and how they had not really met their end of the bargain and that given this info up front I could've made an informed decision before I started and probably never would have! I was eventually put through to Lance in billing. He agreed to refund me $2000 of the $4000 which I originally asked for. They over-nighted me a hold harmless letter to sign and send back, but I called because I was not happy with the wording. It stated that they fulfilled their end of the contract and that they were refunding me only due to hardship. When I spoke to Lance, I explained that I didn't feel comfortable signing this letter, because they didn't hold up their end of the contract, I wasn't satisfied with their work and it had nothing to do with hardship! I didn't want to work with a company that treated their people like that and misinformed them from the beginning only to try to squeeze as much money out of people as possible! Lance told me he would send out a new form to sign, and now he won't take my calls I've received calls from others involved with them who've tried calling & emailing Lance, but still no ans over a month

We had an agreement signed by Ms. on July 26th 2018 which stated we to provide her with a drop ship site, QR code and Funnel Page. We have attached a copy of this agreement. On August 3rd 2018 we supplied her with the agreed upon products (proof of this is also attached) images of the website are attached as well as images of the QR code and Funnel Page report. The agreement which Ms. signed states that no guarantees of increased sales, revenues, profits, or success can be made (see item 6b.) It is correct that Ms. contacted us requesting a refund. While we do not normally provide refunds after all of the work has been completed and supplied to a client, we review each request on a case by case basis. It was determined that Ms. was unsatisfied and management agreed to provide her with a $2000 refund, to which she accepted. In order to complete the refund it was required of Ms. to sign a refund agreement, stating that she would not pursue any further disputes or refund requests once the funds were returned to her. She declined signing the agreement. For this reason we were unable to complete the refund, as the refund was not owed to the client and it was a courtesy agreement. We are willing to still honor the refund should Ms. like to return the agreement to us. It is untrue that we are not accepting her calls, rather we show no calls or emails from her in our records. In fact it is Ms. who has ended communication with us. As stated, all work that was agreed upon has been provided to our client. Furthermore we have agreed to a partial refund and are just waiting for the agreement paperwork to be returned. Until this happens we can act no further.

Best Regards

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
As I stated in my original complaint, after receiving the original Hold Harmless paperwork, I contacted Lance and explained that I was not comfortable with the actual wording of it. I was not satisfied with the services provided as well as the refund was not due to a hardship, it was due to their rude employees. Lance told me that he was going to see if he could have the Hold Harmless Agreement reworded and sent back out to me. after that, I could not reach another person from their company. I have called varies times and left messages on 8/29/18, 9/11/18, to name a few, with no responses. I also received a call from someone named Chuck who attempted to email Lance in Billing as well as CC his superiors and still received no response. I then called Chuck back, only to have him place a phone call, but never heard from him again after that! It's only common courtesy to get back to someone to let them know the status... Logically, why would I drag this out while my credit card continues to accrue interest charges?? It's all just bad business practices all the way around, no matter how you look at it. If you don't respond, you don't have to give the credit back! I'll send the original Hold Harmless Letter back, although I don't agree with it, just so I can get my refund.

Sincerely

My first impression was that this was going to cost me $2,000 when actually it cost $4900 dollars. In several months I had one order from someone on *** that was looking for what I had. Other than that absolutely nothing. I was led to believe that this was going to make me a fortune. I got a phone call message that said to go to couchworker.com. I watched the video and fell for their crap. I feel very stupid for not checking them out on Revdex.com in the first place. But being on SS its very difficult to make ends meet. My cc debt if off the charts and I can’t pay the monthly payments with no income coming in from this website.

We have reviewed Ms.’s complaint and find that it is without merit. On April 24th, 2018. Ms. purchased a Silver Design package and began working with our customer service department. Our records indicate that Ms. expressed nothing but satisfaction in both the products and services provided to her. On May 17th, 2018 Ms. purchased additional marketing products for her business. These products included a QR Code, Video and Funnel page. Ms. expressed to our customer service department that she “loved” her site. We continued working with Ms. until September 6th at which time she emailed us that she needed to put her business on hold due to a family emergency. Her communication expressed that she would reach out to us when she was ready to continue. To date, we have no record of any phone calls or email communication in which our client expressed any dissatisfaction. Furthermore, we have fulfilled our agreements with Ms. and she has confirmed satisfaction. Therefore, no refund is due. We are providing copies of the contracts as well as emails from Ms. expressing satisfaction for her review and we hope this will resolve her concerns.

Best Regards

This company promises if you follow everything they tell you you will have an online business that makes money monthly. They assigned me a coach who helped me get the website. They promised to put the first 300 items in the store. They loaded someone else’s products. I had to enter my own products. They promise weekly coaching sessions. My coach stopped calling several months ago. I complained two months ago. They assigned me a new coach. She’s called twice. I took out $15,000 in credit card debt to start the business after they assured me the business would pay for itself and then some if I followed their program. I want my money back! I am ok with them keepin $5000 for the little work they did do and the small amount of information they provided but I did most of the work myself and had to seek help with the business from our local college!. I have never fallen for a scam before. They completely misrepresented themselves.

Position Gurus Response • Aug 23, 2018

We have attached a copy of our written agreement. The agreement states the products to be provided as: QR code, Directory Submissions, Video, Search Engine Submissions and Funnel page. Following the agreement you will find proof that each of these products were provided. You will find copies of each individual product proving they were completed as agreed. On April 20th Ms. phoned us and indicated she was not satisfied with the customer service representative she had been assigned. She was immediately moved to Valerie's calendar for all future appointments. At the same time, she was provided with several complimentary products as a show of goodwill. These included a free e-catalog and three blog submissions. Copies of each have also been provided for review. Finally, as Ms. continues to make claims that additional promises were made, however it should be noted that our written agreement (see page 3 bullet 6b) refutes this claim. Finally, we did not end our agreement or remove Ms. from our calendars. She stopped answering our calls, emails and attempts to reach her. We had no idea she was displeased until we received the Revdex.com complaint. We have tried to reach our client on multiple occasions to discuss a possible resolution but Ms. refuses to speak with us and as we have fulfilled our obligations and deny any wrongdoing we feel no refund is due.

Customer Response • Aug 24, 2018

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: their written agreement and their verbal promises were two entirely different things. The “complimentary e-catalog was ugly and unprofessional as was their logo they provided. And it is an absolute lie that I have refused to talk to anyone from that company. I would have answered if my coach had called or if anyone from that company had called from a number I recognized or at a minimum had left a message for me to call. As I stated before, I spoke with Valerie two times and that was it. I have done everything they asked me todo. I worked every night and every weekend in my store and marketing. I have a professional career and and have never fallen for a scam before. That is how good their pitch was. And as I have said, I am not asking for a full refund. I have no problem paying them for what they DID do. Conversely, I would expect a legitimate company to admit their products and services did not add up to the hype with which they were presented and refund the amount requested. Mine is not the first or last Revdex.com complaint in regard to this company and their shady business practices. Position One Gurus is a scam, pure and simple.

Sincerely

I am unsatisfied with the service provided. Its apparent to me that I have been misinformed about the details of the service that I purchased.
Initially I was told that would get full coaching on use and marketing of a Shopify store to the point where I could earn enough money to pay off my debt. All they did was create a logo, website and gave me an extremely basic explanation on how to edit the website, NOTHING else. They charged me $1900 for these "services". Obviously upset when I stopped receiving calls and even more so when I attempted to set up future phone appointments to no avail. When I called to discuss the marketing training part of the course, I was redirected to a "sister" company and was asked to pay them for the additional service of the marketing training. Meaning that it was certainly not included in the $1900 service. Then when I called requesting a refund on the basis of being misled, I was rejected. On top of this they are not good at keeping their phone appointments and I feel over all they are unprofessional in dealing with their customers.

Position Gurus Response • Jul 26, 2018

The agreement with Mr. *** was for a Silver Design Bundle which included dedicated coaching, a website and logo as well as other products and services. Much of what is provided is done so during customer service calls which are scheduled by our client. After reviewing our clients portfolio we can find no notes indicating that we ever received any calls in which he stated dissatisfaction. Rather we only see notes that reflect the work that was being provided by his account manager. Additionally, the most recent notes indicate that when his account manager called for his appointments, he did not answer. Our notes indicated multiple messages were left without any calls back from our client. We can find no record of incoming calls that went un returned. Furthermore, we find no records that indicate we ever redirected him to a "sister" company, nor do we have any sister companies or companies that we refer clients to. We are happy to continue working with Mr. until he is satisfied, however his claims regarding our interactions are unfounded.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: The package described was not what I was told in the beginning. The misinformation was the basis of my purchase and of my complaints. Obviously after such a terrible customer experience and feelings of being scammed I did not want to hear any more excuses. I am very unsatisfied and unwilling to be "worked" with as nothing has been "working" since we began. The profile of this business on the Revdex.com speaks for itself with more unsatisfied customers and a long history of similar complaints. It's simple I just want my money back so I can move forward in life.

Sincerely

Position Gurus Response • Aug 02, 2018

We are providing a copy of the agreement with Mr. which reflects the exact products and services that were agreed upon. Everything listed in the agreement has been fulfilled and provided to our client. Additionally, we are providing copies of email communications between our client and our customer service department. These emails reflect that Mr. was satisfied with the work provided. Example email; On April 25th, 2018 Mr. was provided with logos and responded, “I like it ?? Thank you and 12 is excellent.” In another email Mr. confirmed that he was responsible for missed appointment and that his voice mail box was full. Additional emails provided will confirm products and services provided and open communication with our client.
Our services are meant to provide marketing and guidance to a client’s business, but alone cannot guarantee success. Mr. worked with us periodically for less than 90 days and then without explanation stopped all communication and is now blaming our company for his lack of success in building a sustaining business. We have no control over the other aspect of business practiced by Mr. during the times in which he was not working with us, but to expect less than 90 days of effort with minimal weekly appointments to result in a profitable business is absurd. As stated in our written agreement, our company makes no promises or guarantee any increased sales, revenues, profits, success, etc. neither verbally nor in writing. In summary, we were contracted to provide specific products and services for an agreed upon cost. Those products and services were provided in full and therefore no refund is due.

I applied for a $99 web start up, that turned into $5000 later and still do not get the help needed to complete my site, They do the marketing part of it and then out source the actual making of the site to *** Web Designs that I am also filing a complaint against. These two companies say that they will do everything to help you make a profitable website but when it comes to needing help or talking to people you get a call once a month. When you call them they don't return your calls or emails. My last appointment the guy called me at 1 pm when I am at work and we schedule all of my appointments at 10am because of the time difference. I left him a message to call me back to reschedule and it has been over a week and no response. The two companies refer to each other but are not on the same page about things. This is the worst experience I have had trying to get this website up and making money. I would not refer either of these companies to anyone. I was told this business would be making money within 90 days and I am at the one year mark and haven't made a dime. They talk you into giving them all you credit card information so they can figure out where to put the charges and they get paid immediately, so they don't care about you. I started this to make extra money and I have not made one dime and have to pay out on the $5000 plus the interest I have been paying.

Position Gurus Response • Jun 28, 2018

We have reviewed *** complaint and have found that the details she has provided do not correlate with our company. First, we do not have any web start up plans for $99, in face we do not provide any services or guidance related to starting a business. Rather, we work with existing businesses to market their products or services online. *** stated that her purchase price and refund request is $5,000 which does not match our records. We have two agreements with ***, neither which is $5,000 nor do the two equal $5,000. We were not contracted to build nor did we build a website for ***. The products and services provided by our company and those which were agreed upon were for marketing of her existing business. Our records show that all work was completed and provided to out client within the time frames agreed upon. *** was scheduled multiple customer services appointments for nearly a year. Our account notes indicate that we worked with her up to 8 times per month. In June of 2017 *** stopped answering for her scheduled appointments, and after multiple attempts to reach her we have still not heard back from her. Our system shows no inbound emails from *** requesting we contact her, rather we only see outgoing emails letting her know we would like to schedule her with a customer service representative, to which all emails have gone unanswered. *** names another company in her complaint (*** Web Design) to which we have no association and therefore cannot provide any comment. Based on the details provided by *** we feel she may have confused our company with others she was working with.

In summary, we have provided our client with the work that was agreed upon per our contract, and therefore feel no refund is due. We hope this resolves the matter.

Re: ID # ***- Position Gurus

I thought I read something that I would get an email when the company responded, but I never seen anything except this one saying the complaint is being closed. I just seen the response and I disagree completely. They are affiliated with *** and I did originally sign u for $99 package, but then got sucked into the plan where they help you with marketing I never had a website prior to this so that is also a lie I have made several calls and sent several emails trying to get this resolved and each time I get the run around just like in there response. They claim that I quit calling not true and when I do make appointments and they actually they never call on time and they just keep repeating the same thing over and over again. Example my last appointment the beginning of the month he called me at 1pm my time which all of my appointments are at 10 am my time because I work in the afternoon. I listened to the message called him right back and left a message to set a day at 10 am and let me know when it is; still haven't heard from them. Both of the monies I paid are pretty close to $5000 to I was rounding up on top of all the interest I am paying on this money. Every dissatisfied with this company and there service and the issue has not been resolved. Sincerely

Position Gurus Response • Jul 11, 2018

Again, we are not affiliated with *** in any way, rather they are a direct competitor. We do not partner with them in anyway nor do we share information, technology, client data or proprietary information or details. We do not offer or sell packages for $99, nor have we ever. We were not contracted to, nor did we build *** website, and we have no knowledge of who did. Our records indicate we have tried to reach *** on numerous occasions without success. Most recently we tried to reach *** on June 13th and left multiple messages to which we did not receive any return calls. We are happy to continue working with *** moving forward should she wish. We would like to resolve our clients concerns and would love to reach out to her at her convenience, however our agreement was fulfilled and therefore no refund is due.

This company is a "FRAUD" !! They have completely falsified every aspect known regarding any and everything they have done. According to the Service agreement page 2. "Silver Design Bundle" Consulint and Support: Dedicated Account Manger NONE - Debbie S was not Live Support the Logo that was designed was never review or never used because to the quality. Product Research was never done meaning I have only one place to get product and any other options did not either have the product or did not dropship. Layout Design was so bad I had to hire another firm to totally redo. 1,000 product never uploaded and the product that was upload was incorrect and had to be completely redone. No Drop Shipping Support No Mulituple Shipments Support and NEVER any product options. All of the above referenced items where "promised" within 90 days which of course did not happen. This Company needs to be SHUT DOWN before it keeps taking advantage of people. I have requested several times for my money back and of course nothing has occurred. I am personally filing FRAUD Charges against them.

Position Gurus Response • Apr 12, 2018

We believe this is a fraudulent complaint staged to defame our business, as the "customer information" lists Debbie S who is a specialist with our company. Additionally the address and phone number are registered to our business, not a past or present client. Finally the "customers" email actually belongs to our employee Debbie Smith as well. There is no true customer information attached to this complaint, therefore it is without merit and should be immediately dismissed.

Best Regards,

PG Team

This company is a "FRAUD" They Have completely falsified every aspect known regarding any and everything they have done. According to the Serive agreement page 2. "Silver Design Budle" Consulit and Support: Dedicated Account Manager NONE!! Debbie S was not Live Support the Logo that was designed was never reviewed or never used because of the quality. "Product Research" this was never done meaning I was given one company to get product from and when I requested more I was given websites that either did not dropship or did not even carry the product that I was looking for. "Lay Out Design" this was so unprofessional and bad the I had to fire another from to tally redo my website. "1,000 Products Uploaded to Website" this NEVER HAPPENED intact less than 200 where uploaded and the product descriptions were so terrible that the uploads had to be completely redone. All of the above referenced items where "PROMISED WiTHIN 90 DAYS" which of course never happened. This company needs to be SHUT DOWN before it keeps taking advantage of people. I have requested several times for my money back and of course nothing has occurred. FRAUD Charges really need to be filed against this company.

Position Gurus Response • Apr 23, 2018

Ms. claims that our company falsified everything that was provided to her. We have provided a copy of the agreement which she signed outlining exactly what products and services were to be provided. Every product and service as mentioned on the contract was provided to our client. Her claims that she was not provided with a dedicated account manager is false, in fact Ms. names her account manager, Debbie S, in the actual complaint. Debbie S provided support to Ms. both over the phone, via email and through mikogo screen sharing sessions. The logo was provided to Ms. on September 8th 2017. Product Research included 3 dropshippers sent to Ms. on October 12th 2017 for her review. 8 additional dropshippers were sent on October 17th 2017. The reason the dropshippers were not to her satisfaction was because she wanted to sell several name brands, many of which are exclusive to specific high end retailers. Her claims that we promised 1000 products is mistaken, as our contract states "up to 1000 products" but does not guarantee any specific number and varies greatly depending on the specific clients other requests, needs, availability and specifications. We did complete all of the promised work within the time frame agreed upon in our contract. We're happy to continue to assist Ms. should she request additional support however all work was completed as agreed upon and therefore no refund is due.

Kind Regards

They were suppose to setup my website and teach me how to update it and maintain it. I was going to sale healthy alternates (products) so they gave me a drop shipper (DS), rushing me to select items from this DS, so they could up load them. I select 60 item from the DS they recommended and 43 from the vendor I was currently using. I also ask them if I needed a Business License(BL) and they said no. After the upload I did a practice run through the DS to see what it was charging for shipping and it came out to be about 45%. there was no way to make money using there recommended DS, I was very upset, had them remove all the items from that DS. The 43 item from my vendor had all wrong pricing so I had to fixed all the prices on those items. I got a call from the person who sign me up and I told him they should have done their research before recommending drop shippers. and tell people they don't need a BL. I research more DS and found out I needed a BL for most of them! So I gave them 140 more item from my vendor with correct pricings while they tried to get a hold of a DS that would work for me. I told them I wanted to be up and running by 4/1 which is what I had put on my (BL) application. The web designer email me about the items and sent me a document with three items highlight in yellow and the rest in red, stated they yellow ones were already on my site. So I told her remove those three and put the others on. They deleted the 43 I had spent time fixing and only upload 100. I told her I didn't ask her to delete anything on the site and she said I did and I said why would I, after spending the time to fix them. Then they said they couldn't put them back and it was their policy to only upload 100. They said I ask for the removal basically calling me a Lair and I went off on them. I have request a refund they won't even return my emails or call me. Had to suspend my account with , it is just costing me money and I don't have a complete website

We have reviewed Ms.’s complaint and would like to provide feedback on her claims. Ms.’s primary concerns seem to be in regard to the drop shipper and product uploads as well as the deletion of products. After speaking with our customer service staff and reviewing the call logs and system notes we can find no record of our offices advising Ms. on business licensing, nor is that a service that we would offer. Ms. is unhappy with her drop shippers pricing, however we suggested multiple drop shippers for her to choose from. We make many suggestions and give our clients as many options as possible, as each business is unique and clients often appreciate diversity when selecting options for their business. In the end, Ms. chose the drop shipper. Selecting a drop shipper is a first step so any rush that Ms. felt was only due to her own expectations of having the site up and ready, with all products loaded and priced, within a timeframe she herself set. Had she needed more time to select a drop shipper to work with it would have been necessary for her to reconsider her own timeframe expectations. In response to her statement that we deleted products without her consent, our notes indicate that it was confirmed multiple times both verbally during phone conversations as well as emails to reiterating what she wanted removed and our office followed that directive. When Ms. called our office to express that a mistake had been made we offered to reload the products but explained it would take some time. At that point Ms. became highly combative with our staff being derogatory with and swearing at staff members. Our customer service manager spoke to Ms. and expressed that we do not allow our staff to be sworn at and asked her to please keep her language professional. Ms. would not oblige at which time the call was ended. To date the agreed upon work has been completed, however should Ms. request changes or updates to anything we are happy to continue working with her as long as she can maintain professionalism and speak to our staff in a respectful manner. As such we do not believe a refund is due and hope this letter will resolve the matter.

Best Regards,

Position Gurus LLC

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

First of all I sent PG a email on 2/9 excepting the same terms of the contract for less money but with the exception that my training and website would be expedited (per the attached). This was because I was out of a job that I had been with for over 15 years and I wanted to start selling quickly, so I could start make some money while I looked for work. So expediting my website and training you have cause nothing but more work and no training. The only reason I went with you in the first place was because you stated our sell call that would help me with a drop shipper!! The lady that was in charge of designing my website, was in a rush she want a list of items to upload from the drop shipper she recommended. I had a supplier that I had already been using for personal use, so I add some of their item (107) also on that list, I ask the designer where did they get the pricing that where attached to the products because I knew the ones from my supplier was off, she didn't know where they pulled that from. That is what cause me to look into the price and notice that one item was $11.48 that was the price I would sale it for off my site based on the suggested drop shipper. I then went on to there site and notice that the drop shipper price was 5.73 for that item but they would charge me $5.75 for the drop ship. I did it for several items and it came out to be 43% mark up for shipping alone, then I google the item and found it range from 6.36 - 8.95. And this is without me make anything on the product. I was upset with them that they didn't check into the drop shipper before they had me waste time adding items to the spreadsheet.

Then I received a call from the sale person that sign me up and he said they should have given me more than one and said he would set me up with the Drop ship Guru, that person could talk but a minute and gave me 4 more and ask me to research their product list and see if it was a fit before we moved forward with one of those drop shippers. 1 of them site was not working and the other required a Business License, that also was one of he question I had ask them and was told no, but I was already working on getting one, I was glad not having one wouldn't stop me from getting this site up and running but all the ones they suggested either required a license. So the web designer gave me another list of drop shippers (in one of the attachments) and I like one and I sent PG a note from the website that stated they have a drop ship program through their partner which was the same drop shipper that she gave me the first time. So they were attempting to see if they had another avenue, I also sent and email and call them - response is also in the attached emails.

I had them remove all the item that where with their suggested supplier and ask them to add more from my supplier, they weren't a drop shipper but I was press for time to get this up, we"re at the end of March now. So I gave them another spread sheet with 140 items I even went and put down my price along with different quantity for purchase. Web designer state it would be easier for them to remove what was their but I told her I already update those, then she came back and said that there were duplicates (only 3) I told her to removed the ones highlighted in yellow, all the rest where in red (140 item). I state remove the ones in yellow and add everything else, that is straight forward. If they were confused they should have reach out to me instead of just deleting my items. When I look at it next there are only 100 items and none of them are the ones that where already there and missing 40 from the list. I email her asking where my items went she said I ask them to remove them, I did not such thing. I said she need to but them back on and see there gone, and wanted me to redo the list all over. I ask why I only had 100 item she said it was policy to only upload 100 first time I heard that one, I was so mad what a waste of time. I stated before I was made she put some other lady on and see said I told them to remove them more than once I said so you are call me a liar that was it. It takes 10 minutes to add one item without having some one uploaded them. I would have pick my 100 items out of those that I gave them. I ask to speak to the sale rep and and also email him and left him a few voice mail through this process. So since no one want to return my email or phone call I request a refund. Training and expending the website correctly was he deal. nothing less. and that is not what they were doing.

In their message they still state I said to remove them, you can't do business with people that Lye about you and to you. Refund please

Sincerely

They can't be trusted to do what they say they are going to do! I have a website I can't even use, taking them to court to get my money back.

I started working with position gurus around the middle of October. They promised services that they did not do. For example, making my website, it has been over 2 months and they still have not gotten my website live. They had a guy walk me through getting multiple credit cards claiming that this was needed to build my business. I have a total of 4 new cards in the last 2 months. They charged me $4700 for the website. Also charged me for $1400 for a video for advertisement. Everything they charged me for they told me I "needed" it to progress. Lastly they charged me $1300 telling me that they are using it to put my company name on google news for everyone to see. That did not happen.
All I am asking for is a full refund of $7500 total so I can pay back the credit cards.

Re: ***, File No. ***
Dear Ms.:

I am writing on behalf of Position Gurus, LLC regarding the complaint by *** referenced above. The essence of Mr. allegations are that after applying for an obtaining several third-party credit cards to pay for services contracted from Position Gurus, Mr. is now having second thoughts about his purchase and would like a full refund.
After investigating this matter thoroughly, we do not believe a refund is warranted. Mr. entered into two written contracts with Position Gurus. The first contract was executed by Mr. Nyugen on October 24, 2017 and he executed the second on November 15, 2017.
Both agreement contain identical termination provisions which state:
7. TERMINATION.
a. You may cancel this Agreement for any reason by providing written notice within three (3) business days of the Effective Date to the Company at [email protected]. With respect to the written notice required under this section, notice will be deemed to be effective as of the date and time You send an email notice to the Company. Within ten (10) business days of receipt of a written notice of cancellation pursuant to this section a., the Company agrees to provide a full refund of all amounts paid to Company under this Agreement. The refund shall be in the same form of tender as used for the original payment by You.
b. Any time more than three (3) days after the Effective Date, You can only terminate this Agreement by providing written notice and paying the Company all amounts to be paid under this Agreement, plus any late fees and/or collection costs, if they become necessary. With respect to such written notice of Your termination of the Agreement, the notice will be deemed to be received when emailed to [email protected].
e. You acknowledge and agree that this Agreement provides the sole means and method of terminating this Agreement and that any effort to cancel, chargeback, reverse, or otherwise recoup any payment made or owed to the Company inconsistent with the terms of this Agreement is ineffective, invalid, and unenforceable. You further agree that to the extent You initiate any effort to cancel, chargeback, reverse, or otherwise recoup any payment made or owed to the Company inconsistent with the terms of this Agreement, You will be liable to the Company for the cost of responding to such effort, including but not limited to court costs and reasonable fees, regardless of the outcome of such efforts.
f. No exception to the cancellation provisions set forth in this section will be allowed except as by required by law.
Mr. did not attempt to terminate either of the contracts within the three-day rescission period authorized under paragraph 7a above. Instead, he waited until Position Gurus fulfilled its obligations under the written contracts before demanding a refund. Given that Position Gurus can prove that it was provided all the services it was required to deliver, we do not believe a refund is warranted. Please let me know if you would like to discuss this matter further.
Very truly yours,
Dan J. D

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: I do not appreciate being talked about like such, I was fully committed to the contract and this business. I am only wanting a refund because my website is not complete to my liking as your employees told me they would edit the website however I wanted but they did not do anything I asked.
I now know that doing business with position gurus was a mistake, refund for the website is my main concern. That website is unfinished.
Sincerely

VIA EMAILMs. ***Revdex.comP.O. Box 1000DuPont, WA 98327Re: ***, File No. ***Dear Ms.:

This is in response to Mr. "rejection" of Position Guru's response to his earlier complaint.

In his most recent correspondence, Mr. argues that he is entitled to a refun because the website he purchased from Position Gurus was never completed. That is a misrepresentation. Position Gurus' records reflect that Mr. informed Position Gurus on November 21, 2017 that the website was completed to his satisfaction, and that he did not want any additional changes to it.

Given that Position Gurus can prove that it has provided all the services it was required to deliver, we do not believe a refund is warranted. Please let me know if you would like to discuss this matter further.

Very truly yours,

Dan J. D

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: I specifically asked one of the position guru employee that was walking me through to make some changes to the website because It had too much empty color spaces. I was only was only satisfied about how it looked so far, but was it was never finished. If you are getting this info from recorded phone calls I suggest you find the part where I requested changes.

Sincerely

I have been trying to have a website built for my online store for three weeks now and nothing has been accomplished. I paid $4,000 on 11/9/2017 after speaking with Senior Director, Brad D and someone named Daniel. I received a phone call within minutes from these men after I signed up with ***.com for a home based business. One week later on 11/17/2017, I called Brad D to request my money back since nothing was being told to me or shown to me (I was also promised my website would be up and running by Cyber Monday). Brad refused to give me a refund and instead just switched "coaches" from Debbie S to Valerie S. I was then called a few days later on 11/22/2017 by Patrick asking for an additional $11,500 for marketing on ***'s first 3 pages search thereby earning me more traffic/money from my website. I was switched back and forth between Patrick and Lance asking for this additional money which dropped from $11,500 to $5,800 using grants and my AARP number. I refused since I had not seen anything from my initial $4,000 investment. Now three weeks later and still nothing, not even a screen shot of my website. Every time I ask about my website they come up with a different excuse. Also my logo has not been secured after repeatedly sending them (upon their request) the colors, fonts and examples I would like used. To this day, I do not have a logo or a website. I believe Position Gurus use unethical business practices. I am requesting a full refund of my $4000.

Customer Response

To the Revdex.com, Please be advised that my complaint ID #*** against Position Gurus has been resolved today, December 11, 2017.

On 9/27/17 Position Gurus contacted me after I purchased a product called *** on Fire. They associated themselves with this offer and put me through a hour long interview and when I finally spoke to Brad, he closed the sale at $4k and they were going to assist me with doing everything that *** on Fire teaches me for me, so I would not have to do it manually and learn everything on my own. I truly thought they were associated with the offer I purchased as that how it was presented during this 1 hour long sales call. I find out through *** on Fire they are not affiliated with their other offer and one month later, I still do not have an approved logo, a fully functional website or the products I requested loaded. They always have excuses and very good about rescheduling appts., so you never get anything accomplished. This has been a very horrible, tramatic and unprofessional experience. I believe these guys are scammers and they provide little to no value from the money they are collecting from you. If there was value for the 4k I spent with them, there would be no complaint. I basically lost 4k of my hard earned money to these scammers.

Customer Response

To whom it may concern:

After I filed the complaint against Position Gurus I received a phone call from Brad. He basically told me that this was my fault that Debbie has tried to work with me and if I pursued the Revdex.com complaint they would no longer work with me.. This is so untrue. I've had so many reschedules with Debbie and my product was never loaded, so why would I want her to train me before the products were loaded. I was told training would be after products were loaded.

I also had an appt today at 12:30pm and no one called. I did just receive a text 10 minutes after my appointment asking me to call back in. I tried calling the number back, *** but it gives me a voicemail with just an extension. No one's name. This is not the number Debbie has called me from in the past, They've always called from ***. I'm not sure if this is some trick they're pulling to say I didn't respond to my meeting. I was waiting for the phone call.

This has been a horrible experience, continues to be a very unprofessional experience and I truly want to be refunded my money. This company is definitely winging it and I was totally misrepresented.

Since filing this complaint with the Revdex.com no one with authority from this company has reached out to me besides Brad and he was very unpleasant and very accusatory.

Position Gurus Response

We have spoke with Cassandra and have come to terms on the issues she was having and hope to have them resolved very soon.
