Dear Sir or Madame, I purchased the house in question on April 24, At the time, the tile in the master bathroom was already installedAs there were no visible signs of defect, I made no repairs or alterations to the tile workDuring the approximately 1/months I owned the house, I had no problems with the tile in the master bathroom Upon contracting for the purchase of the house, Mr [redacted] exercised his right to have a home inspection completedAs a result, he raised issue with "missing small section of tile behind the toilet” (less than1/of square inch) and the “miss matched grout”I remedied both issues immediatelyMr [redacted] and/or his representative(s) completed a re-inspection and final walk-thru and then proceeded to close thus indicating his acceptance of the repairs When I delivered the house to Mr[redacted] , there were no loose, missing or broken tiles in the master bathroom, nor was I aware of any defects No remedy is warranted, at this time Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I have *** pictures of the tile work when starting to lift and then after it was lifted so that damage could be repairedI immediately contacted my realtor after noticing tiles were lifting who contacted the sellers realtor and received no responseI tried to contact the sellers realtor times and sent him emails with pictures of the damages and received no responseI sent a certified letter to *** *** with pictures of the tiles when they started lifting and a picture of the garage door that broke which occurred less than days after the purchaseThis letter was signed for by Jim Post owner of Post PropertiesThe contents of the letter included pictures and a request for the seller to call me directly so we can resolveThe requests were ignored which led me to contact the Revdex.com
During the Home inspection it was found that both floor and wall tiles in the master bathroom were not installed correctlyThere was a small piece of tile missing under the toilet and the corner tile near the shower which is the one of the that lifted was not installed correctlyAfter the home inspection I requested the missing tile be replaced, the floor tile in the corner be corrected, the wall tiles which were installed incorrectly be corrected and the grout color be matched on the wall tilesThe seller only agreed to replace the small tile under the toilet and match the grout colorAfter seller agreed only to replace small piece of missing tile and match grout work I sent an amendment to the home inspection items asking to provide a credit so the floor tile and wall tile work is corrected by a professional and it was refused
Later on after lifting all the tiles along the shower which had become damaged we noticed water damage to the sub floor and that the previous installer used laminate boards to level the floor and install the tiles onThis is unethical and not the professional nor the correct method to fix any sub floor or adhere tiles toI have attached pictured of the laminate boards which have been removed since and the tiles which lifted a week after closing
The floor tiles in my home have not been replacedI have only removed the tiles and laminate boardsThe sub floor is stained but has driedMy request at this point is that Post Properties hires and pays a certified professional to come in and install the correct floor board to level the sub floor and install new tiles to replace the damaged tilesMatching tiles have been purchased and I will provide if Post Properties agrees to hire a professional tile contractor at their expense to correct the problem

Dear Sir or Madame,

I purchased the house in question on April 24, 2014. At the time, the tile in the master bathroom was already installed. As there were no visible signs of defect, I made no repairs or alterations to the tile work. During the approximately 4 1/2 months I owned the house,...

I had no problems with the tile in the master bathroom.

Upon contracting for the purchase of the house, Mr. [redacted] exercised his right to have a home inspection completed. As a result, he raised issue with "missing small section of tile behind the toilet” (less than1/2 of 1 square inch) and the “miss matched grout”. I remedied both issues immediately. Mr. [redacted] and/or his representative(s) completed a re-inspection and final walk-thru and then proceeded to close thus indicating his acceptance of the repairs.

When I delivered the house to Mr.[redacted], there were no loose, missing or broken tiles in the master bathroom, nor was I aware of any defects.

No remedy is warranted, at this time.

Sincerely,
[redacted]

Review: I purchased a home that was fully remodeled interior wise. There was new tile work done in the master bath. I requested the work be corrected after a home inspection where we noticed poor, unprofessional and non-quality workmanship was performed. The tiles started to rise up less than 10 days after moving in. When the tiles completely came up and required replacement we lifted the tiles and found out prior owner used laminate flooring to level the floor and glue down the tiles. Due to the work the water passed through the laminate board under the tiles and has damaged the subfloor.Desired Settlement: I would like a professional to be hired to correct the work or a reasonable settlement so subfloor is replaced and tiles are replaced and properly installed.
