I booked a room using pricelines express deal feature, the price was low, about $and the hotel was the NUGGET in sparks NevadaThe 14th floor room was in the West tower, the room decor was ancient, there was no parking at the tower the parking lot was converted into a drag strip for the car races due to start the following dayThe walk from the parking garage was at least yards through the maze of casino and other hotel facilitiesIt was horrible I reported my unhappiness to an uninterested staff and got deep responseI won't be returning

we contacted this establishment to find out when they were going to set off fire works and we were encountered by an employee who not only hung up on us three times he told s his name was ***I know *** is a woman and I do not think she would hang up on someone asking when this company's fireworks were going off for fourth of july, even if it was not her job

This review is for the Nugget security staff, especially, Mark H***nBeware of this unprofessional and extremely rude staff
I have been patronizing this establishment for the last yearsI was a patron at the resort and was at Rosie's Cafe to have a late dinner at around midnight on Thursday 08/18/At a.m.,I left the cafe and sat at a table in the Sportsbook with a laptop utilizing their free wifiA security staff told me that I couldn't sit there although I wasn't bothering anyone
I left and went to the Hotel Lobby to continue using my laptopThat was when I encountered the super rude and extremely unprofessional staff by the name of Mark H***nI have lived for almost years and never have encountered such a nasty and rude and horrible specimen of a human being
Although I did not do anything wrong and in fact, patronized their restaurant, I was asked to leave the premisesJust because I wanted to utilized the wifi and power outlet with my own laptopThis is my first time being asked to leave a premise for using their wifi while patronizing the premise and spending money thereTo add insult to injury, the exchange with the nasty Mark H***n can only best be left unsaid here because I don't know how someone like him can get a job anywhere in securityNormally, security at casinos in Reno are pretty cool and laid-back
I won't be patronizing this resort anymore and would strong advice anyone to go somewhere elseThere are much nicer casinos around Reno with equivalent room rates and courteous and friendly staffI have been living here for the last years, so, I can gauge the treatment I get from the different casinos hereSparks Nugget used to be nicer under the old management, but, with folks like Mark H***n around, it can only go one way straight to the dumps from here forward
And to think that I have stayed at this resort in the pastI regret every single penny I ever spent at this establishmentThis is how deeply hurt and mistreated I am by this guy Mark H***n
Beware! You have been warned

This is a letter I sent to the Nugget in Sparks, NV, on 5/11/17, to which I never got a response
I recently stayed at your hotel from May 5, to May 7, I was sent an email survey request, which I completed, and I wanted to also send my comments from that survey to the general manager in this letterHere are my comments from the survey, and from the Trip Advisor review:
"I had called the day before my cheto reserve a refrigerator for some medication that needed to be refrigeratedI was told my request was noted, but that "since the change in management, all refrigerators now come with a $per night fee"I clarified that even with a medication prescription, this fee could not be waived? The woman on the phone "checked with her manager", and then said noSo, I was resigned to paying the feeMost hotels will waive the fridge fee if you show written proof of a prescription medication that needs refrigerationThe nugget is apparently choosing to charge for this necessity, and this comes across as very cheap, and not good customer serviceThe message that is received on the customer's end is: "Our profit here at the nugget is more important than our customer's health."
I arrived at the hotel, and asked for my refrigeratorThe cheemployee told me "We don't have any fridges, we've been out for weeks." I told him that I have a medication that needs refrigeration, and he said, "There's nothing I can do, we're out." I told him that if this was a medication that would not function correctly without refrigeration, I would demand that they store it in their staff refrigerators, and he said there was nothing he could doLuckily, my medication could technically go without refrigeration, but it's not ideal, and goes bad much sooner, which requires a refill of the medication too earlyIf it were insulin, or something else that was critical, I would have asked for a managerI told the cheperson that the nugget was going to get a lot of complaints about no refrigeratorsHe just shrugged his shoulders
When I got to the room, I noticed the TV stand with the drawers had a large opening, big enough for a fridge, with a 3-pronged cord - obviously, this space is made for a fridge With the incredible profits the nugget makes, it can afford the investment of one fridge per room, and would solve the potential complaints (and law suits) regarding the inability to refrigerate medication In addition, the other "grumblings" from other customers about how a large casino/resort like that does not have a fridge in the room would stop, and maybe the nugget would get better overall ratings
I am a Registered Nurse, and was extremely disappointed in the nugget's choice to charge for a fridge, and then I was very surprised when I was told there was not one available for my prescription medication needsI only stayed at this hotel because it was where Sweet Adeline's chose to hold their conventionHowever, I will absolutely not stay here on my own, or recommend it to anyone, given its choice to make a profit over ensuring its customers healthThis is an extremely poor management decision, and I hope that the management team takes my comments seriously."
Sincerely,
Katherine S***

We stayed at the Nugget on September 1, during the Rib Cook Off Right before checking out we checked our luggage with the Bell Desk and went to have breakfast Upon arriving at home hours later, we realized we did not pick up our luggage, I had my claim ticket in hand and immediately called the Nugget to advise them I spoke with Amanda in Security and advised her that we would be back in the area the following week and we could pick our luggage then Amanda assured me that it was not a problem and that she would make contact with the Bell Desk to advise them that we would be back the following Friday to pick up our luggage
We returned Friday, September 8th to pick up our luggage, I called Amanda in Security and she stated that our bags would still be at the Bell Desk, to our surprise the bags were not located
We explained that we had the claim ticket so how could this happen, we couldn't get an answer
Later the Security Shift Manger Luis Castillo also tried to help us to no avail My husband finally asked if we could check the l*** and found and the security office to see if we could locate our bag, as soon as we were taken into the security area, I saw our bag When I lifted it I told my husband it's too light, we looked inside the suitcase and all our personal items were gone!!! On our suitcase was a tag that stated it was found near one of the exits of the Nugget Obviously and inside job, because again I had the claim ticket in my hand Luis Castillo said they would start and investigation and that Debra Y*** the Risk and Benefits Administrator would get in touch with me, she never did I finally called to find out what the status was, she of course didn't have an answer, but said she would call me back Again, no call I finally called and advised her that if she hoped we were going away, we were not.!! She finally called and said that they wanted to offer me $, I advised her that my husbands shoes alone were worth $450.00, and for those of you who golf we had golf shirts and a golf skirt and shirt of my own, also they took all my cosmetics and curling iron, pair of jeans and other misc items I asked her if they had fired the thief among their staff that stole our items, she stated they had no thief's in their employment My last phone call to Debra Y*** to advise her that I would not be settling, I would rather see the thief prosecuted, as $is a Felony Conviction I asked Debra Y*** to sent me name and address of their Atty as I wasn't taking $500, and that I would be having my Atty correspond with their Atty, of course no information has been sent to me If I could place a negative star I would, I am appalled at how I have been treated and how nonchalantly they take customers items being stolen by their own Thanks for reading (If anyone can provide me contact info for Nuggets Atty please advise)

upon arriving to this facility, I was brought aware there was no microwave in the room to warm my infants bottlesI was told to substitute using a coffee make to brew "hot water" as an alternativeI was told prior to booking by their Operator times, they had microwaves in some of the roomsFALSE.As I started to walk throughout the room, I notices threads on the floor as well as trash telling me the room was NOT properly cleanedUpon entering the shower in the morning, I took a picture of the algae/pink possible salmonella in the showerONCE again telling me the room was NOT properly sanitizedI found droplets in the carpet looking like bloodI also have a picture of that showing they do not properly sanitize the carpet. We called the front desk to report our issues but couldn't get anywhere because we had booked thru a 3rd part to which I let the staff know I HADNT but I fell for a copy cat websiteUpon departing and getting our truck back from Valet, we saw a light switch on

The Nugget Hotel failed to clean my suit for 3-days citing it was not part of their customer service to fix the mistake
I dropped off my clothes at the Bell Desk on Tuesday, February 7, to utilize the Dry Cleaning Services offeredI filled out the necessary card for the service instructionsTheir service card indicates in clearly that my clothes would be ready on Wednesday after 7:PM
It is now Thursday night and I called down to the Bell Desk requesting where my clothes were and they said they forgot to clean them
I proceeded down the Bell Desk and the gentleman there said it wasn't their fault that they didn't clean them and that it wasn't part of customer services effort to resolve the problemHe told me he has been working in the hotel business for years and never would have provided help with my issue because it wasn't his fault or that he didn't make a mistakeHe referred me to the Front Desk who told me it wasn't their department and there was nothing she co

I am a local in Sparks, Nevada and enjoy staying in hotels every now and thenI stayed at the Nugget last night only to have a miserable nightI was in a non smoking room and all night I had to put up with someone smoking pot in the next room (also non smoking as well) I talked to the manager and he said oh well, we can’t do anything about itShame on themNever going back there again
I want my money back for having suck an unpleasant stay

Very poor room maintenance serviceIn spite of asking and calling them several times the room service didn't show upThe room gets extremely hot in the night and they didn't even get it fixedExtremely rude management

I stayed at the Edgewater hotel in Laughlin May 28th for one nightMy checkout time was supposed to be at 11am; however, I was woken up at 8am by housekeeping despite having a privacy sign on the door and checking out that dayThis is a casino and naturally I went to bed lateI paid to get sleep and I wasn't given what I paid forAdditionally, a man with a walkie talkie stood right infant of my door and there was absolutely no regard for hotel guests whatsoeverI was very frustrated and could not get any sleep so I packed and checked out earlier than 11amI was also interestingly itchy all night and realized that I had bed bug bites to make matters worseAfter I brought my complaint to Valerie at the front desk, she promised she will issue me a full refund and said she had to call Expedia to issue me the refundA few days later, I noticed they charged my credit card for hotel fees and denied my refundValeria refused to talk to me over the phone and there was no sort of cooperation or compensation for my experienceThe entire experience was awfulI came with a few friends who usually come to this hotel to gamble and for some reason “raved” about this place but after what happened, none of us will be returning to this placeYou got to give people what they pay for! If I paid to get some sleep then I should have gotten just thatThis hotel has no standardsCompletely deceptive staff to pull off this type of move

Was at the hotel 3/11-3/checked out 3/When I checked the I had room billed to my credit card however there was an additional resort fee of $dollars refundable that you can charge or pay in cash which is what I did and have witness who will verify this However when I went check out I was informed that the clerk *** had not recorded the $cas that I gave him I spent an hour trying to get was rightfully mines , I was given a written notice of the incident and was told someone would get back to me I have called numerous times either to told the party is out to lunch, you have to talk to the vice president , I will help you and still nothing been done nor have *** or the Nugget tried to make some concessions I was even told that because of the configuration of the check in counter they were unable to determine the transaction which I find very unbelievable (inferior cameras in a hotel CASINO) what is the real issue herePlease inform me as to what I need to do

I have been waiting for my refund for hotel rooms I paid for, but did not useThe date I requested refund was 3/18/I still have not received any refundThis issue has costed me fees and has been an inconvenience not having? our money returned

Nugget Casino Hotel is the worst and nastiest casino hotel in Reno, Nevada In all website reservation for this hotel, *** and others, state that it is a PET FRIENDLY HOTEL We called ahead of arrival to confirm it accepts SERVICE DOG, and the answer was YES But by the time of our arrival for week stay, it denied accepting SERVICE DOG with U.SRegistration Certificate and proper documentation
We asked to use its computer in the lobby to book another hotel to stay, but were told to leave the hotel, otherwise, police would be called to remove us The frontdesk clerk refused to bring the manager but called SECURITY, and fraudulently claimed she was the manager and there was no one above her When the frontdesk manager finally showed up, she claimed she was the manager for the whole hotel, and there was no one above her to make decision The frontdesk clerk's name is Ana S***, and the frontdesk manager's name is Stacy T***

Good Evening,
My husband and I surprised our daughter and her boyfriend who were visiting from out of town, with tickets to see Carrot TopThe show was great! It was the first time for all of us seeing him and we loved itHowever, there were a couple of incidents throughout the show
First, when we first arrived, the female usher at the door escorted us to our seatsShe sat us at table number after reading our ticketsWe were very excited because the seats were so great for the price we paidWe then went out to the casino bar and got our drinks and got settled in to our seatsAbout minutes later we were approached very rudely by a female and three of her friends who argued that we were in "their seats." My daughter went back over the usher who walked us to our table earlier and showed her our tickets AGAINAt this point, the usher said "Well yea you're in the wrong seats, your tickets say 672" Even though she was the one who sat us there in the first place

wrong room rcvdmultiple billing after departureno return phone callscannot speak with manager
Booked a smoking king room with a mountain view for anniversary reconfirmed with hotel front desk days before arrival arrived approx 6pm was told only nonsmoking rooms with queens beds available Had to get a manager over to at least get us a single bed Ended up with a nonsmoking king on the 3rd floor with a lovely view of the stairwelltried to make the best of it days after check out another charge appears on my credit card ending in the amount of 45.65, more than the room itself which was prepaid for on 22Sep I have left messages for the billing department to find out what this charge is, as I paid cash at the restaurants and we ordered no services to our room they have not returned my calls I have called asking to speak to a manager and am told by the front desk that no managers are available Every single time I call I am told to just call ba

I've never been treated so poorly at a resort/hotel About 10pm, my girlfriend and I went to sleep At midnight, after a missed phone call, security knocks on my door repeatedly until I come to the door Apparently there was a noise complaint It doesn't take an expert to know where the noise is coming from if you stand outside of the door, but that didn't stop them from knocking To make the matter even worse, the female security employee demanded to see my ID At that point, I turn on the lights, wake my girlfriend up to find my ID The security interaction ended with Okay, not even a thank you or I apologize Frustrated, I went down to the hotel check in to speak with a manager and I was sent Clinton, an assistant guest services manager Before I could even finish explaining my story, he interrupted me with, "I don't know why you're here, you should be talking to the security manager." His attitude was condescending, and even make a remark about how I was "a pleasant person to talk with" Once I told him that his attitude was unacceptable and I would be making a complaint above him, he offered me a dollar refund for my resort fees An apology and ownership would have gone a lot further than a dollar refund The following morning, I checked out and made a complaint to MrsT***, the manager who said she would be following up If this is how your security policy works and how you train managers to treat your guests, you may want to consider your approach

I drove out from *** to visit familyWe decided we would make a trip to circus circus with the kids for some funGot there later than planned and didn't know they closed the kids area, we then decided to look for a roomThe nugget resort was the only available room at the timeThey advertise $22, $for peopleI went to book it and the cart came to $I then backed out and didn't continueA couple hours later when I noticed they charged my bank I called them and their service sucks to the maxThey said because it was after midnight even though not hours it's the next day and I have to pay $We never showed up to the room cause I didn't hit confirm on the booking pageThis is completely advertising and horrible service and I would like my money backThank you!
