upon arriving to this facility, I was brought aware there was no microwave in the room to warm my infants bottlesI was told to substitute using a coffee make to brew "hot water" as an alternativeI was told prior to booking by their Operator times, they had microwaves in some of the roomsFALSE.As I started to walk throughout the room, I notices threads on the floor as well as trash telling me the room was NOT properly cleanedUpon entering the shower in the morning, I took a picture of the algae/pink possible salmonella in the showerONCE again telling me the room was NOT properly sanitizedI found droplets in the carpet looking like bloodI also have a picture of that showing they do not properly sanitize the carpet. We called the front desk to report our issues but couldn't get anywhere because we had booked thru a 3rd part to which I let the staff know I HADNT but I fell for a copy cat websiteUpon departing and getting our truck back from Valet, we saw a light switch on

Very poor room maintenance serviceIn spite of asking and calling them several times the room service didn't show upThe room gets extremely hot in the night and they didn't even get it fixedExtremely rude management

This is a letter I sent to the Nugget in Sparks, NV, on 5/11/17, to which I never got a response I recently stayed at your hotel from May 5, to May 7, I was sent an email survey request, which I completed, and I wanted to also send my comments from that survey to the general manager in this letterHere are my comments from the survey, and from the Trip Advisor review: "I had called the day before my cheto reserve a refrigerator for some medication that needed to be refrigeratedI was told my request was noted, but that "since the change in management, all refrigerators now come with a $per night fee"I clarified that even with a medication prescription, this fee could not be waived? The woman on the phone "checked with her manager", and then said noSo, I was resigned to paying the feeMost hotels will waive the fridge fee if you show written proof of a prescription medication that needs refrigerationThe nugget is apparently choosing to charge for this necessity, and this comes across as very cheap, and not good customer serviceThe message that is received on the customer's end is: "Our profit here at the nugget is more important than our customer's health." I arrived at the hotel, and asked for my refrigeratorThe cheemployee told me "We don't have any fridges, we've been out for weeks." I told him that I have a medication that needs refrigeration, and he said, "There's nothing I can do, we're out." I told him that if this was a medication that would not function correctly without refrigeration, I would demand that they store it in their staff refrigerators, and he said there was nothing he could doLuckily, my medication could technically go without refrigeration, but it's not ideal, and goes bad much sooner, which requires a refill of the medication too earlyIf it were insulin, or something else that was critical, I would have asked for a managerI told the cheperson that the nugget was going to get a lot of complaints about no refrigeratorsHe just shrugged his shoulders When I got to the room, I noticed the TV stand with the drawers had a large opening, big enough for a fridge, with a 3-pronged cord - obviously, this space is made for a fridge With the incredible profits the nugget makes, it can afford the investment of one fridge per room, and would solve the potential complaints (and law suits) regarding the inability to refrigerate medication In addition, the other "grumblings" from other customers about how a large casino/resort like that does not have a fridge in the room would stop, and maybe the nugget would get better overall ratings I am a Registered Nurse, and was extremely disappointed in the nugget's choice to charge for a fridge, and then I was very surprised when I was told there was not one available for my prescription medication needsI only stayed at this hotel because it was where Sweet Adeline's chose to hold their conventionHowever, I will absolutely not stay here on my own, or recommend it to anyone, given its choice to make a profit over ensuring its customers healthThis is an extremely poor management decision, and I hope that the management team takes my comments seriously." Sincerely, Katherine S [redacted]

This review is for the Nugget security staff, especially, Mark H [redacted] nBeware of this unprofessional and extremely rude staff I have been patronizing this establishment for the last yearsI was a patron at the resort and was at Rosie's Cafe to have a late dinner at around midnight on Thursday 08/18/At a.m.,I left the cafe and sat at a table in the Sportsbook with a laptop utilizing their free wifiA security staff told me that I couldn't sit there although I wasn't bothering anyone I left and went to the Hotel Lobby to continue using my laptopThat was when I encountered the super rude and extremely unprofessional staff by the name of Mark H [redacted] nI have lived for almost years and never have encountered such a nasty and rude and horrible specimen of a human being Although I did not do anything wrong and in fact, patronized their restaurant, I was asked to leave the premisesJust because I wanted to utilized the wifi and power outlet with my own laptopThis is my first time being asked to leave a premise for using their wifi while patronizing the premise and spending money thereTo add insult to injury, the exchange with the nasty Mark H [redacted] n can only best be left unsaid here because I don't know how someone like him can get a job anywhere in securityNormally, security at casinos in Reno are pretty cool and laid-back I won't be patronizing this resort anymore and would strong advice anyone to go somewhere elseThere are much nicer casinos around Reno with equivalent room rates and courteous and friendly staffI have been living here for the last years, so, I can gauge the treatment I get from the different casinos hereSparks Nugget used to be nicer under the old management, but, with folks like Mark H [redacted] n around, it can only go one way straight to the dumps from here forward And to think that I have stayed at this resort in the pastI regret every single penny I ever spent at this establishmentThis is how deeply hurt and mistreated I am by this guy Mark H [redacted] n Beware! You have been warned

Nugget Casino Hotel is the worst and nastiest casino hotel in Reno, Nevada In all website reservation for this hotel, [redacted]  and others, state that it is a PET FRIENDLY HOTEL We called ahead of arrival to confirm it accepts SERVICE DOG, and the answer was YES But by the time of our arrival for week stay, it denied accepting SERVICE DOG with U.SRegistration Certificate and proper documentation We asked to use its computer in the lobby to book another hotel to stay, but were told to leave the hotel, otherwise, police would be called to remove us The frontdesk clerk refused to bring the manager but called SECURITY, and fraudulently claimed she was the manager and there was no one above her When the frontdesk manager finally showed up, she claimed she was the manager for the whole hotel, and there was no one above her to make decision The frontdesk clerk's name is Ana S [redacted] , and the frontdesk manager's name is Stacy T*** We have

The Nugget Hotel failed to clean my suit for 3-days citing it was not part of their customer service to fix the mistake I dropped off my clothes at the Bell Desk on Tuesday, February 7, to utilize the Dry Cleaning Services offeredI filled out the necessary card for the service instructionsTheir service card indicates in clearly that my clothes would be ready on Wednesday after 7:PM It is now Thursday night and I called down to the Bell Desk requesting where my clothes were and they said they forgot to clean them I proceeded down the Bell Desk and the gentleman there said it wasn't their fault that they didn't clean them and that it wasn't part of customer services effort to resolve the problemHe told me he has been working in the hotel business for years and never would have provided help with my issue because it wasn't his fault or that he didn't make a mistakeHe referred me to the Front Desk who told me it wasn't their department and there was nothing she co

I drove out from [redacted] to visit familyWe decided we would make a trip to circus circus with the kids for some funGot there later than planned and didn't know they closed the kids area, we then decided to look for a roomThe nugget resort was the only available room at the timeThey advertise $22, $for peopleI went to book it and the cart came to $I then backed out and didn't continueA couple hours later when I noticed they charged my bank I called them and their service sucks to the maxThey said because it was after midnight even though not hours it's the next day and I have to pay $We never showed up to the room cause I didn't hit confirm on the booking pageThis is completely advertising and horrible service and I would like my money backThank you! I've never been treated so poorly at a resort/hotel About 10pm, my girlfriend and I went to sleep At midnight, after a missed phone call, security knocks on my door repeatedly until I come to the door Apparently there was a noise complaint It doesn't take an expert to know where the noise is coming from if you stand outside of the door, but that didn't stop them from knocking To make the matter even worse, the female security employee demanded to see my ID At that point, I turn on the lights, wake my girlfriend up to find my ID The security interaction ended with Okay, not even a thank you or I apologize Frustrated, I went down to the hotel check in to speak with a manager and I was sent Clinton, an assistant guest services manager Before I could even finish explaining my story, he interrupted me with, "I don't know why you're here, you should be talking to the security manager." His attitude was condescending, and even make a remark about how I was "a pleasant person to talk with" Once I told him that his attitude was unacceptable and I would be making a complaint above him, he offered me a dollar refund for my resort fees An apology and ownership would have gone a lot further than a dollar refund The following morning, I checked out and made a complaint to MrsT***, the manager who said she would be following up If this is how your security policy works and how you train managers to treat your guests, you may want to consider your approach
